TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Bake Off

Fabulous series, nice people. Thought the judging was unnecessary at times. Take a leaf out of the Pottery judging style, effective but not cruel

Pleased Jasmine won, she was outstanding throughout. Any other decision would have been just wrong.

I'm always so sad when the series finishes. Worthy winner. I almost declared never to watch it again after last week's terrible decision though!

Wash your mouth out. Greys is one of my Top 3 series EVER :-) Probably joint top with ER!!
Hehehehe. Figured I might get a response. I liked the first season or two.....and then it turned into a bad soap opera. Even my wife had to admit after 10 seasons or so that she was going to stick it out no matter what. What I've learned from Grey's.....there are a huge (really huge) percentage of gay medical people in Seattle. The weather is really cosmically bad at times (it isn't, pretty bloody boring). Evidently almost all medical staff have sex constantly in the back rooms. Dr's stand around not working a lot of the time....and then having sex in the back rooms. And....well....more sex in the hospital back rooms. I'm from Western Washington......in Seattle a lot when young.....maybe I know too much (Little Britain reference).

If I list my top 5 movies/tv shows (which I would never be able to decide on).....you would likely question my sanity. Psssst......Greys isn't on the list :sneaky:o_O

Did Grey's boost recruitment in Seattle hospitals? They sound like a place where all the action happens 🤣
Well if you believe Trump.....Seattle is full of Antifa, so you are likely to die at any minute.

Seattle is way to big for me. More than 2000 people....unlike the town I grew up in. But Harrogate is too big for me.....I'm a hermit. If somebody forced me to move to "the city", Seattle isn't bad.

Edit: except for the Dr's constantly having sex in back rooms......a real issue......Probably explains the high medical cost in the US.

100% a soap opera but somehow I was always really invested in the main characters and their lives. Like ER I was gutted when it ended. I've watched ER from the start again and loved it as much as the first time. Greys is on Disney though so can't get it and don't want it enough to pay for it :-)

I think like music it's hard to pick favourites and they can change from time to time to. Greys and ER will always be on the podium for me though...

ER for me is one of the best programs I have watched , every season was superb

I’m hoping that they show The Pitt on UK tv soon , that looks excellent

I am watching Ascension (Prime) The series not the film.

Top secret launch of a massive rocket in 1963 full of people intending to ensure the survival of the human race .............. no spoilers.

Any Gomorrah fans on here, new prequel series coming to sky early next year Gomorrah the origins.
All about Pietro savastano when he was younger, how things all came about in Naples, secondigliano etc. trailer looks good.
Loved it, I think it's one of the most violent shows I've ever seen. It made the Sopranos look like a kids show
