TV Series - What Are You Watching?

Started a series called killing eve over the weekend, looks like it'll hold the interest for a wee while
I mean, a little late to the party 😂. The first series is exceptional, the rest not so much. Personally, I would not bother past series 1. I watched s2, did not bother with any more.

Really surprised nobody has mentioned started series 3 of the Monster series on Netflix, it's Ed Gein, started over the weekend, he is somebody I had not heard of but this is excellent if a little gory & disturbing.

My misses is starting to have doubts as it starts to ramp up and don't tell me it's not real she says.

 In my defence i don't even get the same version of netflix movies/shows as you do, so not sure how long this one's been there to watch ☺️

The first series was on BBC in 2018, hence the post. It got a lot of publicity when it was released as it was very different. I do understand that it might only just be on the platform you use, but where is the fun in acknowledging that 🤭

Started House Of Guinness last night, 30 minutes in the missus is snoring her head off and I’m surfing the web so we stopped it.
Watched the first 2 episodes of 9 Bodies thing and it was quite enjoyable if a little cliched.

Started watching Ellis... detective series. Bit formulaic, lots of red herrings that all somehow all cone together about 7 mins from the end! 😁 But actually, it's growing on me. We record stuff like this so we can fly through the adverts and trailers. Two hour programmes suddenly become about 80 mins!

Really enjoying Break Point on Netflix. It's the tennis version of "Full Swing." We're a couple of years behind current, but not sufficiently avid tennis watchers for it to matter.

Sadly finished season 3 of Fisk… 6 episodes is not enough! seasons 1 & 2 were good but S3 was real laugh out loud stuff! Hope they make a S4.
I think this is my favourite comedy at the moment, not that there is much competition but even so...........

I loved the interaction this series between Ray and George, gentle but very funny.

I seem to really like these half hour Aussie comedies, they really make me chuckle. Fisk, Colin from accounts were great, I am on the lookout for Kath and Kim now (8.4 on IMDB) but it doesn't seem to be available free in the UK at the moment.

I'm late to this party but Mammoth on the iPlayer. Mike Bubbins plays a 70's PE teacher frozen in ice who is found and thawed in 2024. It's like a reverse Life on Mars. Maybe it's age dependent but I laughed quite a bit at ep1.
