Finished Dept Q tonight. Really enjoyed it. Loved the fact they tied up all major story strands and no huge cliffhanger (a rarely nowadays) but left it set up perfectly for a second series.

Taskmaster Finale was excellent, great cast this series who were all good value.
Looks like the next season’s lineup will be good too.

3 episodes into North Shore.
I'm doing well to stick to it, I'm trying to convince myself it isn't as awful as I think it is.
The writing: ridiculous. It feels like the dialogue had been written by a bunch of kids, and every sentence had been made as over the top and clichéd as possible

Is 'The Chelsea Detective', which seems to have garnered a fair degree of adulation on here, the same run-of-the-mill, formulaic, programme that I've seen? You know, the one that's not much more than a travelogue for the SW3 area. Or is the current series way, way, better than what's gone before?
(Perhaps I'd get more out of it if I bought a bicycle?)

It's a simple, formulaic, 1hr detective show. Gentle, with decent characters. There are not many equivalent shows on at the moment, Death Valley perhaps? Lots of gritty, angry shows, it's nice to have an alternative.
Bosch - Season 3, decent start 3 episodes in.

You are quite right.
Formulaic with plenty of script cliches and characters out of central casting.
And as for Death Valley I cannot believe that an actor of Timothy Spall's calibre has got himself involved in such rubbish.

Yeah, I didn't see it coming but I think series 19 goes into my all-time top five series of TM. They were superb.
As usual there are two in the new line-up I've never heard of - and I'm not particularly a fan of the other three I have heard of. Sure it'll be good anyway.

BoB is awesome. Started but not finished The Pacific…equally so…but for some reason I paused - probably holiday. Think I’ll go back to the start of it.

Squid Game 3 - another case of "it worked brilliantly so let's do it again". Some nice moments, even more graphic violence and a meh ending.

Where are you watching it? A google search says it's on Netflix.....but it's not there, maybe just in the US. I haven't seen it in quite a while and I'm always looking for something to watch while I'm on the eliiptical....
