TV Series - What Are You Watching?

I totally get where you're coming from! Some series can really draw you in, but it's hard to commit to more than a couple of seasons. It's like you start with all this excitement, but as the seasons pile up, it can become a bit overwhelming.

I find If I start a series and I like that's it I'll watch until it finishes ala big bang, Dexter. However there are some poor seasons when you struggle through

It is quite possible that people recommended and watched this when it came out ,but we have binged The Traitors this weekend. really addictive once you start watching and we really enjoyed it, so if you missed it when it was out at the beginning o the year it is available on BBC Iplayer
New series of The Traitors starting 3rd Jan on BBC 1. Series 1 was excellent but not sure how the producers will have tweaked it as I think they’ll have needed to given the competitors could be wise to how to play it.

The thing is that when you read the books about Reacher, he has probably nailed the character to a tee.
Haven't read any books but have just started Reacher, season 1 episode 7/8. Agree, his character is all about what he's endured in his past and the present!
Enjoying it so far.

I woke up really early this morning and binge watched the entire Vigil series 2.
Every bit as good as the first series.

I have started to watch a lot of series on catch up /IPlayer as it turns each episode in to a 40 minute programme rather than a 1 hour programme.

Just binged two Netflix series whilst on my death…. I mean sick bed…..🥵🥶🤒

A Nearly Normal Family, a Swedish murder drama. Was OK, decent enough that I didn’t feel the need to bin it halfway through.

The Diplomat. A Us drama based on an American Ambassador sent to London against her wishes. Really enjoyed it, thought Rufus Sewell as her husband was excellent. Left on a cliffhanger and already hoping for season2, two thumbs up from me.

Finished the US Ghosts which was quality - awaiting the next series now. Chucked on Colin From Accounts on a whim, and it's absolutely brilliant.

Mr Bates vs The Post Office.

Very very shocking.
Very easy for hundreds of wrongful convictions to be carried out. Many went to prison and/or bankrupted.

Even more shocking.
Very difficult for the same judicial system to properly compensate the victims of the failure of that system.
Very difficult for the judicial system to apply any penalties at all to those who brought about the wrongful accusations of fraud, theft and false accounting.
Those who did bring those accusations were the ones responsible for the accounting errors.
None of those will ever go to prison or suffer personal financial loss.

And the story is a long way from being over.

Only seen episode 1 so far but the treatment of innocent employees by the Post Office is absolutely shocking and makes my blood boil. I could feel my stomach churn as they went over and over the numbers but things just got worse.

Shame on the "well you're the only one" edict...
