Just had an email from golf empire advertising the new Turnberry opening 1st June - £539 1 round plus dinner bed and breakfast!!

Think I'll wait till he realises the R&A won't give him The Open and sells up!

Had the same Email a few weeks ago, will wait till the course has bedded in first.

It is a 5 star hotel so you will pay 5 star hotel prices. If you fancy playing stay in Girvan and make the short drive

Why do you think there won't be another open at Turnberry?
All of the alterations on the course have been done in consultation with the R&A.

Am keen to go back and play new layout.

Price doesn't put off given its anot overnight, 3 course meal etc
