Tuesday 18th March East Mids-ish

I like Ormonde Fields. Check your GPS when you're on the tenth tee, it will say about 360 yards to the green, but it's such a big dogleg that the actual playing distance is more like 560! It's a monster. Seventeen is a lovely hole, but very hard to get on in two. You get some nice views from the tenth and twelfth greens. Enjoy!

Very enjoyable day with @RichA at Ormonde Fields GC.

We started off like a couple of players with regulation pars on the first, but while Rich maintained a good standard, I didn't and proceeded to lose the next 6 holes! 😦

A minor recovery meant I was able to avoid a dog licence but still got properly beaten.

Weather was perfect and course while soft in a few places was playing very well for the time of year. One thing I will say though, it's very hilly, I'm knackered!

Thanks for the game Rich.

I had to Google dog licence. 🤣
We need a thread for old fashioned golf slang.
