Tuesday 18th March I'll be driving up to Notts from east Herts.
Anyone willing to let me join them somewhere en route as a visitor or meet up for a round somewhere not too premium?
 
Just been told that Monday 17th they will be slitting and sanding our greens, so not worth inviting you you to mine, sorry.
But I'd be willing to join you elsewhere should someone make an offer of hosting.

Or as a possible alternative I'm currently in discussions on some golf clubs to be collected from Hucknall and I'd eyed up Ormonde Fields GC near Ripley as a possible to play while I was there, never played it before nor know anything about it. :ROFLMAO:
 
I'm an idiot. I stopped checking this because I didn't get any replies.
Now I realise that I got the date wrong. It was actually 18th Feb that I was looking for a round. I ended up playing an open at Stoke Rochford.
That said, I have a day of annual leave to use or lose before the end of March, I wouldn't mind getting to Dad's by Tuesday evening rather driving up on Wednesday and I'd love another round with you chaps.

Sorry, yes I did but forgot. Any option would be great for me. I'll just be happy to not be at work.
OFGC is only 25 minutes from Dad's house but 3 hours from where my journey starts on Tuesday morning, so tee time would need to be non-early.

That sounds fine for OFGC, tee times look pretty free so we could should be able to book late morning.

Are you up for this @Voyager EMH ?
We could car share to save fuel.

I'm out at the moment but will book myself in once home.
I guess once one of us has booked the time slot will be blocked so whoever is next will need to phone.

Ormonde is a decent course, unless it’s wet. We have had many an away day there.
There are some challenging holes.
 
I've booked for myself at 11.34
As expected the slot has disappeared from the booking sheet so you'll need to call the Pro-Shop and ask to be added to the 11.34 slot.

Just got a few too many things going on this week and this would need morning and afternoon to be clear.
Got a game booked for Thursday pm this week and that is not certain.

Had a look on google map. That first hole looks very interesting.
