TM Loft Up Guarantee

When I purchased mine - Woburn told me they would take it back if I didn't like - Dan was that confident he said he would give me a free top if i didn't get on with it and brought it back.

Not convinced at the moment. To be honest I think the Ping's will be much of a muchness and I haven't got access to anything other than R flex in the SLDR. I find that a bit whippy in the TM range so it may be a bit hit and miss. I haven't liked a TM incarnation for ages and not sure this will change my thinking but I'll go in with a open mind

I took a couple of shafts that had SLDR adapters down to a local AG to have a sneaky check to see which to put in which head. Was quite impressed with the SLDR - no need for me to 'loft up' - but not so impressed with the Jetspeed, solely from a 'personal taste' pov. Another 'new' one and a returning old favourite to try imminently (need to find the Range Token!) too!

Simple.

Longer on a good drive is fine, who wouldn't want that? But what about the bad drives?

Longer into the trees/cabbage/water/OOB might not suit everyone where a shorter drive may be less penal :D

Without being pedantic (and without my TaylorMade hat on) but pretty much every survey ever done says that consistently hitting it longer equates to better scoring. Proximity to the hole is king and given the choice of 120 yards from manageable rough / semi rough, or 160 yards from the fairway, the vast majority of players will score better from closer to the hole - not to mention the times the longer hitter does actually hit the fairway!

I'm sure somebody is going to say 'but what about hitting it OOB every tee shot' ... show me somebody that would hit driver x down the middle every time yet with driver y (which can have the same shaft / swing weight / loft / length etc) they hit it OOB every time and I'll eat my own eyeballs :)

This has to be TM biggest development yet. A club that will perform after being paid for. They must have managed to integrate a 30 day delay on the norm which causes club to fail the moment they are paid for. I'd imagine this tech is very new though and would explain why some might return. Simply a malfunction in the time delay.

Well i bought a high launch SLDR 5 wood , with this dry spell and the ball running i have started hitting this club with a sight high draw and now dont use my driver much as that is running into trouble , average between 230 & 240 and down the middle and my last 4 rounds were 73, 74 , 75 , 72 , they not getting the club back ...............I did hit about 200 range balls one afternoon with lots of adjustments to ball postions , tees and shape to see how it goes and very happy with it now , thinking of 3 wood or driver next

Not sure it will change your mind if you are only trying R flex - surely you need to try it with the set up that suits you.
