tiger spit

For those of you who thinking spitting in public is okay, I can tell you now, it isn't. It's disgusting and appalling manners.

If you think it's okay then you've been dragged up.

Moreover, if you are the worlds most famous golfer on tv in the biggest golfing event of the year, then spitting every verse end when you know a camera is on you is pretty pathetic. It's sets a terrible example to anyone watching and I would include in that, not just the impressionable children who will copy you, but also the current crop of gullible fanboy tiger supporters who, as evidenced by this thread, clearly think that if its okay for tigger to do it, then it must be acceptable for all.

Defending the indefensible.

He doesn't spit when he's winning I have noticed. And agreed, he doesn't give a toss what people think about this....

Here, here

I seriously doubt you will find a bigger Tiger fan than me anywhere but one thing I cannot abide is his spitting. Is it a problem, Yes it is. It is not gentlemanly and needs stopping. He should be ashamed of himself.

Shows how much i know about the game ?
Says the man with the 17 handicap :D

That's funny you have just offended anyone with a handicap over 17 now

And if you believe that would bother me then how wrong you are, I've been playing the game for just under 2 years. Practice very little and play for fun. You sad little man.

Fancy a round? I'd love to meet you ;)

Well said that man!

Woods is a great golfer but a morally bereft human being.

Mungoscorner

We get it. You don't like Woods and that's your opinion. I thought he competed well but couldn't find a spark today. Yes spitting is gross and Woods probably does it more than he should especially when he knows its on camera but aside from that big deal. I am sure others do it but under the microscope as much as others. I come back in from a cracking day at the club and the first post is an anti-Woods tirade. How sad

I've been back playing the game for less than 2 years after having a 4 year sabatical since being diagnosed with two bulging discs in my spine, my handicap at the moment is 8.8 which isn't the best, but not bad considering my condition.
I love meeting forummers, so yeah if you fancy a game at my place i'd be up for that, but i'd rather not play on the PGA as it's a bit of a goat track imo.

only saw one spit, didnt like it but I can sure live with it without going mental on a public forum:whistle:

I saw Stenson pick his nose with both hands but he's a human being and I feel it's not worth reporting to the world....

Theres a lot of very angry people on this forum who get in a right strop over nothing:rofl:
