So did Luke Donald and Lee Westwood, how many Majors have they won between them ?
He's won jack in the last five years Majors's.
Don't hold your breath because you'll suffocate.
He missed four majors through injury, 6 through his self imposed sabatical contended in most others. Westwood has won none in 20 years yet people thought today would be his day. Woods may not win another Major, but been as he's number 1 in the world, top of the fed ex and won four times this season I'd suggest his apparent downfall is more wishful thinking that's reality. Anyways, I'd rather just enjoy watching golf and congratulate Big Phil for a great round than try and use it to bash another sports star.

Loads of other players do it and you see them if you go to golf tournaments, it's just that Tiger get's a lot more Tv coverage hence it looks like he is the only one doing it.

Ok mate you don't like him,we get it. But can't see him hanging the clubs up anytime soon. Personally I think he's got more majors in him. Ok he hasn't won one in 5 yr but he's hardly been at the top of his game.

Spitting is a filthy habit and not acceptable anywhere in public IMO.
That maybe true, but this thread would need a very long title if it was aimed at all sportsmen that do it, this thread is just another tired excuse to moan about Woods.

I really can't see why he, or any other golfer, finds it necessary. football, rugby, distance running etc when it feels like you've got a gob full of bostik then fair enough - but golf?

Exactly how i see it.
If a sportsman is running about exhausting himself, then i have no problem with the phlem, but Woods is the only golfer i see spitting on a regular basis. Filthy classless individual.

I agree with you there. I personly hate the sight of woods but that aside he is always subject to a witch hunt. I know he doesnt ask to be a role model towards young golfers but if he's prepared to reap the fruits of his popualarity then he should act propper

Majors are the yardstick of golf, Phil was the best player this week, Rose the mo th before and Scott before that. Are they better golfers than woods? No. Just like Murray isn't a better golfer than Djokovic because of Wimbledon.
Woods has more talent and desire than any other player on tour. That's not fanboy of woods or hatred of others. That's fact, Michelson blames some lovely looking shots round the greens but statistically he is average and getting up and down.
Well that's where this should be too. It has no relevance on golfing ability and as I said is plainly aimed at woods or other golfers would get a mention.....

main sure woods is aware if that, pretty sure he's won quite a few pots in his career, the last 5 years included. Anyways, I'll let you get back to your grapes coz they're obviously not sour enough yet.
