Tiger turns 50 next month.
What do you see for him in 2026?

Will he be active on the Champions Tour?
Access to a cart and 3 rounds will be beneficial.
Will he feature in any majors (he will need another special exemption for the US Open).

Has he even committed to the Father/Son tournament next month?

I really hope this isn’t the end for him but setback after setback make a successful return increasingly unlikely as the CT is more competitive each year.

For me, he only has one milestone left the achieve and that’s a 10th USGA title. To not only surpass Bobby Jones but to win the Senior US Open he would be the first and likely last player to win 4 different USGA titles.

Is this the end?
I hope not!

I’ve said before that the Champions Tour would actually be the perfect fit for him at this stage.

It would certainly be immense for eyeballs on that tour and he would have a decent chance of being competitive without wrecking what’s left of his body with the effort, as, unlike the main tour, he no longer needs to keep up with an entire field of 340 yd bombers without having the physical tools to do so any more.

But he doesn’t need to; he has nothing to prove. Up to him.

So it’s just whether the ego on one side and the motivation/enjoyment for competition on the other side allow him to play. I hope so.

Not interested really. Loved him as much as the next man, but not really interested in seeing him hobble around struggling to complete the course. I don't know if I see him caring about the champions tour either, I'm not sure it will whet his competitive appetite enough. Could be wrong of course.

I think he should've taken his moment coming over the bridge in 2022.

That's a good shout actually, hindsight being a wonderful thing of course. But I suspect he's not figured in any competition much since he had the opportunity to put a full stop on the end of his career at the most iconic place in golf.

I think the only target for a Tiger in 2026 should be to sod golf off and focus on getting his body into a position that it doesn’t require surgery and can start to enjoy his life.

For me If he does play again I’d rather see him just play social for fun with his boy and friends. Maybe walk out for his farewell Open and Masters appearances focusing on walking off into the sunset as a true great of the game with his health hopefully in tact. He has nothing to prove but a lot of life to live.

Assuming he's fit enough to compete..... playing on the Seniors would depend on how seriously he takes winning on that Tour.

Gary Player counts Senior Majors the same as regular ones (or so he says!😉) I doubt Tiger would.

I'd be suprised if Tiger needs the camaraderie, or the cash. But he might enjoy the odd serious game against his old foe? He doesn't need the travel, and his fitness is a worry.

I can't see it to be honest.
