Teed off at 7:30 and we're quickly let through by 2 four balls ahead of us.... sun shone all the way round and I struck the ball nicely. Scored a +17 88 to play 4 under my handicap. Had already told the handicap secretary that it was due to be a supplementary card so should be in for a decent cut.

good times!

ended up playing 12 holes this morn with podge and scouser! will get out again tomoro for a few.

the course is starting to dry out nicely and back on full greens! :whoo:

played in the scramble this morning, played as bad as I had played well yesterday. Never got any rhythm, was very slow and got pretty cold in the wind, on the plus side I putted pretty well

Knobbed it round with vardon and our vice captain to a gross 77 (pb) net 65, in windy conditions and sanded greens in a little confused! But a really nice round!

Just in from what turned out to be a very enjoyable game in the moderate wind(25mph-ish). Irons are crisp but woods just spin up out of control with a slice so this will be the focus of tomorrows lesson. Nice birdie at the last too :)

Social knock in a hoolie with intermittent hail showers for me today.

Not brilliant but managed 88 which I wasn't too disappointed with.

Practise knock on winter tees after yesterday's downpour!

Started poorly with bogey, triple and a double in the first 4!

Then went 1 over for the next 5 holes, including a birdie and 2 pars!

Back 9 steady apart from an annoying pick up due to lost ball through the back of a green, finishing with a 91ish!

Good practise before we start the real stuff on the 5 th April!

Played today in an 18 hole singles as we postponed our Singles Matchplay Qualifier due to heavily hollow cored and sanded greens.....

This year iv been picked for the Panel for our Junior Cup so the team Captain wants us to play as many matchplay formats as we can between ourselves up to July when the cup kicks off.....
So this morning i had the pleasure of playing with our Club Captain who plays off 10 and we decided as he is also on the Panel we'd play our own little Matchplay outside of the singles as well.... It was tit for tat up until the 12 where i went 1 up... I won 13,and 14 also with Pars and i was 3 up going up 15 which he parred and i took bogie on.... 2 up with 3 to play i kept pressing and we halved 16 and 17 which gave me the match and also a fiver..... It kept us focused the whole way round to the point where i finished 8 over gross through some dodgy chips and the odd gammy putt....
All in all a good bit of banther and an enjoyable round..... Thats 4 rounds this season and iv shot +8, +27 (dont ask), +5 and this mornings +8.....

So hopefully once the weather picks up and the lift clean and place conditions finish i should be in good shape......

Played in the captains drive in today.

Have to hand it to the club and the captains really well run good day with some good money raised for charity. Felt sorry for the Mens captain poor bugger topped his tee shot and was out driven by the Lady captain.

Managed 38 points with two blobs and under 30 putts (counting the blobs) and won on countback.

Really happy, played well apart from my driving which left a bit to be desired.

Well chuffed :whoo::clap:

Played yesterday in the stableford, first competition back on the full course with no fairway mats.

Disappointed with 33 points but the course won't play any longer this year, every tee was set to the limits with a strong wind and very little roll still. Think I was around 5th in my division when I left so shows it was tough.
