Morning you cheery bunch

What are everyones golfing plans this weekend?

I'm heading out tomorrow morning at 7:30 for a round with my normal PP. I'm now armed with my new Cleveland wedges and Srixon balls.....so am thinking a nice solid sub 90 round is in order. I've discussed with our handicap sec that we'd like tomorrow to count as a supplementary....so lets get stuck in!

Oh, and I'll be taking my golf rules book with me courtesy of GM......lets see what rules can work for us!

Nothing for me tomorrow as my car is in for an MOT and service. My wife only has a 2 seater car so no room to get my clubs, trolley etc up to the course.

Stableford comp on Sunday so hoping some of my recently improved form shows it's head and I can get that small cut I need to be playing off 13.

Nothing special this weekend, the weather will determine how close I get to matching the 19 hours I spent at the club last weekend!

Got a Society day at Downshire tomorrow 7.30 tee off, looks cold but dry for Bracknell in the morning so fingers crossed it stays that way.

competition tomorrow morning, and then a foursomes trial match on sunday for the club team. Should be interesting!

Thinking about popping to the range tomorrow to keep a sly eye on my nephew whilst he has his lesson (he's only 4 next month) & hit 50 myself.

Stableford / Medal on Sunday morning (forecast rain). Only one more practice comp after that before opening day. Still on fairway mats as well.

zilch! KoK next weekend and looking like range only between now and then (bodes well for coming last at yet another forum shindig). Gonna find somewhere to do a bit of hinge and hold practice with the new wedges and get a few distances sorted as I was seriously shocking last weekend.

Off up the club at the moment, planning just to hit a few balls and amble 9 but a chance I get talked into the midweek medal. Texas Scramble comp tomorrow then planning a day off sunday. Still feeling a bit under the weather with cold/cough etc so may be a little like hard work (especially bogged down with the weight of an extra ball in my left pocket lol)

no golf for me this weekend, still got my foot in a plastic boot.

feels like the tendon issue might be easing a bit, the lump has gone down thanks to the anti-inflammatory pills and i think it doesn't feel as tender, although that might just be numbness due to 4 days of complete inactivity.

hoping to start walking without the boot on monday, so hopefully next weekend i'll be teeing it up again

To follow up my KoK outing yesterday, where I putted so poorly (22 putts on 7 holes). Ill be spending a good hour trying to get some distance control going.
Then I expect someone will force my arm behind my back to play 18
Saturday morning a roll up, then on the Sunday the Hayling Island mini meet. Which i'm very much looking forward too

sNOw golf for me as SNOW forecast and the temp has dropped to minus 25 today.........certainly feels that way, plus strong winds as well just to make the wind chill drop another 7 degrees.:angry:

Final of our Winter League tomorrow. Got a few things to do in the morning but hope to head up to the club early afternoon and find someone who'll let me join their group and play in the comp. If not, I'll go out on my own and practice.

Either way, it'll be my first 18 holes at my club since September :whoo: Need to get some golf in ahead of KoKs next Sunday.

Taking the boy to his junior group lesson tomorrow morning, it's the first time I have to leave him in the capable hands of my pro as I have to meet and greet the Stoke by Nayland Norman Plum team at 11:15 in the clubhouse. Going to make my excuses to run the boy home at 11:45, then back down to the club to play as a reserve in the Norman Plum team. Sunday it's a day off for me.

My daughters birthday party in the middle of the day tomorrow, so no golf for me.

But have booked on at 7:54 fro Sunday morning to get out and get some pratice in at the new club prior to starting comps in a couple of weeks..
