Great result for Rickie. I had been doubting his ability to step up after coming runner-up in so many big tournaments and majors last year, but he's just showed that he's capable. Wonder when we'll see a return to hi-vis punch you in the eyes orange?

Great tournament and great finish, well done Rickie Fowler, what a performance on the back nine and playoff.

Shame Garcia never pulled it off, showed a lot of character just to get into the playoff and again it seems the putter let him down over the course of the week.
Reported that he was subject to a steady stream of abuse coming down the stretch, to the extent security was called. He may have had a colourful past and might not be everyones cup of tea, but nobody deserves that especially under that amount of pressure. Hope he gets that major and silences them (for at least a while).

Watching it now, and Rickie Fowler is looking awesome. The approach into 16 was incredible, and then to take on the pin on 17 shows some serious bravery. What a performance, and makes up for Thorbjorn being denied by Coetzee earlier in the day!

Pleased for Rickie, I like many others thought he is an exceptionally talented golfer but have never been sure if he has the extra 1% mentally to close out and win tournaments especially big ones. This may set him up for a major this year

Just caught up on this tonight after nodding off when Sergio holed the birdie on 17th in normal play!!

Great finish by Fowler and it's a shame Sergio didn't make it in the end.

Not sure Fowler's HiD's shorts would've complied with our place's dress code though.
