He has been in the Top 20 for years - consistent high finishes and good performances in majors and WGC keeps him there

Jim is out injured.

Taking extra time out to get fully fit from a lingering bone contusion on his left wrist, he's already missed more than what he'd hoped but he doesn't want to rush back only then to have longer out, seems sensible to me.

What does that teach us?

It teaches us that no matter how funky your swing is... ensure you get consistency at impact. Something he does very well.
