I thought Homer had a lot of golf shoes, but just read that Mike Harris by his own admission in this months GM has 38 pairs.

Now that is a serious collection, and must have taken a lot of breaking in.

I'd think there are lots of goodies arriving at the towers daily to review and try out so the pickings are rich, don't think you can compare that to Homers obsessive purchases. Bet he has as many drivers & putters, I bet there's a little Aladdin's cave in them there towers :smirk:

How do you choose which pair to wear though ? I get in a cold sweat choosing between either my spikes or my pimples.

Not in the same league but I am moving house at the moment and by clearing out the shed, cupboards etc I realised that I actually have 12 pairs of golf shoes in various states of repair. Even found one pair that I have no idea where I got them from and have never heard of the make. Anyone heard of Bite golf shoes before.

I always feel my shoes let me down a bit but I have plenty of time on my side. Anyone got a pair or tried a pair of FJ Blacks? Are they really worth all the extra shekels?

I just bought some FJ Superlites and by god they are, like slippers they are, light they are, beautiful they are :smirk:

But if you are given them thats different, I would be giving them to people that use them and keep 4 pairs myself (you can only use 1 pair at a time in case anyone wasnt sure)

If I'm wearing black slacks and a red shirt and can match that with my shoes why not. Then next week I fancy a white and green shirt and can match that why not. Each to their own but if I could I'd have a myriad of choices in my shoe rack

i have NO problems on that front Rich , i have one pair currently FJ AQL, new pair of shoes start of every season wear them thru the winter then bin them

I am ashamed to admit that I have only one pair - FJ DNAs - they r lovely but I think they are about to die soon. So will be in the market for some shoes.. how long do FJ guarantee the waterproofing? I wish I can't see having more than 3 'active' pairs at any one pair..

I'm being kept under a tight(ish) rein by HID although it's not stopped me looking at some nice pimple soled Contour Casuals in some rather exotic colours. I just need to find where she's hidden the credit card
