Re Bob Mac. Was talking to the pro at Macrihanish last summer. They said Bob's been going there for years, and still visits with his old mates.

Could not meet a more polite and nicer bloke... apparently.

Looks like he just can't keep it bottled up on the course!

What happened to Bob on the 15th? I went to bed after the 14th.

Had a look on the masters app, saw that he hit a nice drive, 2nd went in the water, 4th hit the green and spun back into the water…after that I couldn’t tell what happened, too many shot tracer lines! It looked as though he hit a chip from just off the green, but then the next shot he was back up the fairway and hit over the green?

I don't know what you were looking at but you had the first part right and the rest went how you'd expect..
2nd shot > water
drop
4th shot > span back into water
drop
6th shot > went through the green
7th shot > chip
8th shot > missed putt
9th shot > holed

Strange. There was definitely something between the 4th and 6th shots.

Just watched it again, I think they’ve putt the chip shot in there twice but from a different angle, and in the wrong order!

He was -2 then they showed him with his approach to the 18th and he was +7.
Quad, double,double on 15,16 & 17.
Can’t see him ever making it with that sort of bottle job

He literally has always been a golfing hero for me, he looks cool, his swing is an art form and he’s so chilled out. It’s exactly who I like to be on the course.

My reality is though I’m a stocky, grumpy looking little short arse so look more like a much less talented Ian Woosnam

I don't even know who Chamblee is, in terms of his history in the game. He doesn't appear to have won much. I wonder how he gravitated into his current position?? McGinley's a little better if you include his Ryder Cup record.

I can't watch McGinley and thew other bloke... not good on tv at all. That said, I bumped into McG once in Quinta do Lago, he was really decent and chatty.

McGinley’s won the Ryder Cup, well I never knew that would’ve thought he’d have mentioned that!

Chamblee was an average player making a living now spouting dross and even when he’s factually proven wrong it’s the other persons fault

Absolutely cannot abide the man.

On the course he has to be one of the most humourless, petulant, sulky individuals I have ever seen playing the game.

I’m sure he’s a lovely guy away from the course, but we only really see what’s on it, and he is one player I’d happily never see hit another shot.

I think you’ve just nailed what my irritation is with him. When he’s on screen I can happily walk out of the room to watch paint dry.
