The Masters 2026

Odd at 13th. Scheffler & Woodland with pitches, both finish off the green. Then Bob putts off the green!
Couples has a 9 at the 15th!

If the cut was today, it would currently be +3. Two players at +12. But leaders at -5.
Bit of an.odd day

I dunno, I'm really not liking Koepka's shirt either. Roll-necks went out with the Milk Tray man. 😂
Nah I like what Koepka is wearing, subtle colour, athletic fit and paired with a cool pair of shoes. Also if you think that’s a roll might wanna have a closer look, these no roll on and it’s not high enough. That’s a nice mock turtle neck my man 😂

Couldn't think of the name but that doesn't make it look any better. It's very 90's and not in a cool retro way.

He does normally have nice shoes, I'll give you that.

Bob has made an absolute Horlicks of this, looks like he'll be heading home early. A lot of people fancied him to do well, me included.
I would say he’s definitely heading home not the only one to meltdown on that hole today, doesn’t strike me as someone with the temperament to pull it back after a meltdown. Dunno what it is something about him I just don’t like.

Fashion is subjective, I like it and would wear it. Bob Mac’s shirt however I’ve got better tea towels.

I understand why you'd say there's something presents itself as a dislike with Bob.

We are all supposed to support the 'locals', but I listen to Sky apologising for his language most rounds and yesterday he was whacking the ground after poor shots and cursing galore. Unpleasant to watch.

These people have to realise they are being watched by millions and act accordingly. He will be on a plane back to the rain before the weekend.

Difficult one for me, this topic. I like to see a bit of passion from the players, along with a bit of interaction with the crowds but there is a line that some players cross (some a bit too regularly). Would like to see a few more in the middle ground instead of being completely in the zone and doing the pointless hand raise gesture when they play a good shot. Show us they are human and not just robots playing golf.

Tough look for the LIV boys
McGinley was rabbiting about this yesterday as if it was unequivocal proof of quality.

It’s a nothing stat that is being used to fuel pointless rivalry and I’d expect better from commentary teams to remain impartial and focus on the golf being played not who plays where.

The actual facts of it are there are:

There are 10 LIV Players in the field, only 16 players in total broke par, 65 PGA Tour players equally failed to break par. Does that mean it’s not a good day for the PGA Tour!

Also the fact it’s only round 1 with more golf to be played. Last year Rory was 7 shots behind the leader after day 1. Sergio and Tyrell are both within that same bracket this year, but that can be overlooked in order to make this pointless bitterness toward LIV continue as it doesn’t suit the narrative.

I find it really sad people still using this type of stat both fans and pros with the game alike to fuel something that really doesn’t matter either way. Just enjoy the golf at hand.

The headline some golfers struggle at Augusta is not going to be a new angle and certainly not good click bait.

The split is still something fairly new so lazy journalists will just go down this route.

The thing is people can use/bend stats to suit their own argument.

It’s a fact 92% of the world know this 🤣

What happened to Bob on the 15th? I went to bed after the 14th.

Had a look on the masters app, saw that he hit a nice drive, 2nd went in the water, 4th hit the green and spun back into the water…after that I couldn’t tell what happened, too many shot tracer lines! It looked as though he hit a chip from just off the green, but then the next shot he was back up the fairway and hit over the green?
