Just 2 weeks left before we head into The Masters week - quite possibly the best Major of the 4 - undoubtedly the most anticipated as it really does kick start the golf season here in the UK.

Predictably, Scheffler is the favourite, with Rory behind him - the odds I'm looking at look lean for Scottie and generous for Rory given recent results and further down.

Some good odds for an each way bet down the field with Reed, and Garcia at 80 and 100 to 1 respectively. Bryson is over-valued at 18/1, Xander at 16/1 looks tempting.

Who do we want to win, and who do we think will win?

I'd like to see Rory win it to get the full set - and I'm gonna pick him as the guy that I think will win it.

Its McIlroy all day long. Surprised Scottie is favourite. After that, Aberg.
Outsiders that wouldnt suprise me too much would be a new European : Pavon, Straka, McIntyre, Detry.

Happy for McIlroy to win, but really fancy McIntyre if he has his putting shoes on.
Scheffler won't be far behind either.
Brooks needs to step up a gear and so does Aberg / Morikawa to challenge Rory in my opinion.
Joaquin Niemann and Justin Thomas as outside bets at the moment.

Will be interesting to see the results of the final events before the Masters, see who comes into form.

I’ve had a few free bets on Xander,Morikowa & Niemann (big outsider).
I’d like to see Fleetwood win it,but no chance imo.

Just had a look and a site is listing Woods at 150/1!
Thought he'd already pulled out.

With the Masters, think many would overlook the relatively weak field & that it doesn't have a course rota, because it regularly dished up exciting finishes. Could do with some more of them I feel. Great app though.

I saw those odds for Tiger. I’d be reluctant to take them for him walking 4 rounds in 4 days, never mind winning the competition :geek:

Rory will never win the Masters. It's too big in his head now, wants it too much, he can't just relax and play well there - he'll always blow it one way or another.

I don't know who I'd tip to win it. I've noted down Bhatia and MacIntyre as each way stabs, but not had a look at the other options yet. I would enjoy seeing Bryson win it and I think he certainly has the game to do it.

Bryson needs to tidy up his putting if he has any aspirations to win any Majors this year.

Tied 33rd on LIV for his putting stats. That level wont cut it at Augusta

Unlikely but fun prediction: Hovland seems to have remembered how to swing a golf club after ditching unwise swing changes. Hitting lasers as I type. The sheer joy of having got a usable golf game back will propel him to his first major at Augusta.

Maybe one day, I thought for a long time Sergio would never win a major ,having been close so many times, I think he even openly admitted he didn't think he could. But he got there in the end.

No idea why anyone thinks Rory, he blew a 3 shot lead against JJ Spaun last week. No chance Scottie and some of the others will have such a poor week again, that's not even taking into account the liv guys

McIlroy is playing better than at any other time of his carrer.
None of the rest are really in top form. More likely some bolter from behind a la Willet. But probably still wont be good enough to beat Rory in this league-above form.

Rory will be favourite , the course is perfect for him game but right now he can’t seem to get it right there

Right now there aren’t many “hot” golfers that are showing themselves above the rest
