I have read that Alonso favours 3 at the back, which isn't how FSG want to go. If that be true, Alonso won't be there at all.
No idea to be fair, it’s more about how FSG have been lauded on how to run a football club.
There was many complaints over the years about Klopp not being financially backed at times.

No matter who is manager It’s going to carry on being a transition - going to be more players arriving in the summer

But if Slot was to go imo it shouldn’t be Alonso who comes in
The big question is who would replace him?

It’s all well and good saying get rid but if nobody out there is better it’s pointless.

Obviously we are not privy to what goes on behind the scenes and how the relationship is with those higher up the club who have to make the decisions

As I said to Billy

I think that FSG have always rated Nagelsmann

I like the look of Hoeness and Iraola has done very well in the Prem

Rumours are Simeone could be leaving Atletic Madrid and Enrique may be looking to move on from PSG as well.

2 very experienced managers but I’m not a fan of Simeone personally

Enrique is looking to sign a new contract for £20mil a year !!

Simeone - done well at Atletico and not a fan of the way he is but I suspect would love his passion if he was the manager

They are trying to throw money at Enrique to keep him.
Apparently having won the champions league he is keen to join a more competitive league.
Simeone gets up to all sorts on the touch line.
Which is great if he is your manager
It may harm us though as we may no longer be everyone else’s 2nd favourite club 😉🤣

I’ll be surprised if Enrique does leave PSG but would be a perfect manager for the Prem though

We've had "entertaining" managers in the past. The world loved us - but we won nothing.
It's the eternal question for football fans, 'what do you want, trophies or entertainment?' Of course, he doesn't guarantee trophies but he will bring about a Mourinho style unpleasantness to the club. Be careful what you wish for 🫣
