Spurs not buying Eze is such a Spursy thing to do
That’s a great hit though![]()
Still can’t make my mind up on Gyokeres, a lot of effort from him, but some of it seems misdirected.
Gabriel Jesus with his experience would be better suited for this game imo.
If recent form continues, it won't even be close. Spurs will be at least 5 or 6 points from safety at end of season. If spurs fans aren't genuinely worried at this point, they really should be. Both West Ham and Forest will know they are reachable.
I’m hoping Liverpool are buoyed by today, knowing they’re within reach of top 4 and find some form as they play a few of the teams around us.If spurs fans aren't genuinely worried at this point, they really should be. Both West Ham and Forest will know they are reachable.

No future this bloke.
Agreed. If he keeps that going for the rest of the season then he'll have had a successful season. If you look at the season so far, not the year, not so much. Stats huh![]()
I don’t think Haaland has helped new strikers coming into the league.Agreed.
But he is currently joint 5th for goals scored with Calvert-Lewin & Ekitike on 10 goals.
Not great after 27 games.
Agree to an extent in that Haarland is exceptional. Arsenal are currently top of the table though, so perhaps Gyokeres is the one playing in the best side in the league?I don’t think Haaland has helped new strikers coming into the league.
People see the numbers he has posted so far and make comparisons and forget Haaland is breaking records consistently as well as playing with the best side in the league.
But still better than most strikers in the league - and they don't seem to get any bad comments on hereAgreed.

By best side I meant over the time Haaland has been at City.Agree to an extent in that Haarland is exceptional. Arsenal are currently top of the table though, so perhaps Gyokeres is the one playing in the best side in the league?
I'm not sure they play to his strengths though, oddly, so that doesn't help him.
I think if you are a striker that plays for the lower table clubs like Burnley, Wolves, Palace, Everton, etc. then you could be a stinking striker, but no one really cares apart from their own fans. After all, it is half expected. Or they have poor players around them, so it is expected as being difficult for the striker. Or they didn't cost a huge transfer fee, so you won't be judged as critically. But still better than most strikers in the league - and they don't seem to get any bad comments on here![]()
