Am I reading this correct?

When Cole Palmer was playing brilliantly at Chelsea, he signed a contract extension until 2033, for £130,000 a week!?

He must adore Chelsea, as he could probably get triple that elsewhere

Annoying Huddersfield have scabbed their way to two wins with 10 men in 3 days

What's your beef with Huddersfield?

They have played about 100 minutes of football in 3 days with one man less than the opposition and come out with 6 points. That's pretty commendable for any team I would have thought.

Of course you're right. They've done very well to beat two good teams with 10 men. They're just our play off rivals and one of the two teams we need to drop points

Take it you're a local to that area Mel? Debating about making the trip in a few months as it's a ground I haven't ticked off.

Yeah, I was a season ticket holder until we moved to Spain, but never picked up the bug for going on a regular basis since we came back.

Ground is ok to be fair, the town itself, not so much... :ROFLMAO:

Oh you also beat us in the Play Off Final back in 2017, not that I hold grudges 👀😁

Did you go around that era? The game this year is on Good Friday, so I'll probably do that and get a hotel in Leeds for a night out.

I was right at the front where Schindler ran over to celebrate the winning penalty mate. Great day out :ROFLMAO:

To be fair, we were rubbish and our team was bang average. It was amazing we got so close! You were the better side but when we went 3-2 up in the shoot out, to lose from that position is absolutely gutting. Bet you had one hell of a day though, best way to gain promotion isn't it..

Yeah, it is.

Surreal moment as we realised the club had made it to the Premier League. I'd got to know the chairman at the club quite well at the time, and quite a few other people - knowing how hard they had worked to get the club into a position to have a sniff of the Premier League, and fulfilling that dream just made it a little bit more special.

The PL is a bit of a poison chalice for a lot of clubs that get there though, and that's how it worked out for Huddersfield in the end. Couple of seasons up there but I only really enjoyed the first 6 months or so.

Paqueta has left West Ham.

From comments I've heard, I get the feeling that Hammers fans think the team perform better when he is not there so might not be overly sad.

Looks like Eddie is parking the bus against PSG tonight and hoping to hit PSG on the break.

Most of the first choice midfield is missing, neither Gordon or Barnes start.

Think its going to be a lonely evening for Woltemade tonight.

Only bright spot is that Trippier is not starting and doesn't have to face Kvaratskhelia.

Reckon we get beat by 2 or 3 clear goals, end up in 12th/13th and get a play-off against one of Bilbao, Olympiacos, Galatasaray or Napoli who I think might surprise Chelsea.

He’s got skills but rarely applied them, lots of petulance and always the risk of a booking/sending off, I thought he would have given us the season since we stood by him during his corruption investigation but hey ho, no loss. We just play better without him. 🤷‍♂️
