I like this German ref in the Newcastle match, letting a few challenges go that are "half fouls" if you like...picking up the overly strong stuff and showing cards where necessary but generally letting things go where he can.

Ultimately a good solid performance against a decent team....and a future England midfielder being handed the Captains armband by Trippier at the tender age of 19.

They could but it would need all of them to win (except Arsenal who are there already) and Real Madrid to lose away at Benfica....oh and for Barcelona to fail to beat Copenhagen at the Camp Nou....and for Sporting to not win at Athletic Club

yeah...I'd expect...

Arsenal to beat Kairat

Frankfurt v Spurs....difficult as you never know which Spurs will turn up...maybe a point might be enough for Spurs

Liverpool should beat Quarabag but in all honesty a point will be enough (if the 15 they currently have isnt)

Man City at home to Galatasaray....after last night who the hell knows!!!

Napoli v Chelsea could be tough as Napoli will be desperate for a win which might be enough to get them a play-off position

PSG v Newcastle....I fear it will be a game too far for us and we will just miss out....the late equaliser that Leverkusen got in the previous round of matches will ultimately cost us dearly.

No problem with multiple big teams from the same country being in the Premier European Competition.

But should have been rebranded years ago.

I have to disagree with you there. You can’t do that as that isn’t what it is.

Some of the teams are not actually in Europe,

Its definitely a league though
