The managers you have quoted I would say have all been pretty successful as well and at pretty big clubs.
It seems to be the clubs the next level down that change managers regularly, is that because they expect to move up to the top of the table?
If so that is a high ask and fairly unrealistic I would say
I agree, certainly Pep.

I was just pointing out that not all clubs, even after success, will necessarily sack their manager after a period of frustration. I remember Newcastle really struggled a year or so ago, but I don't think Howe was ever in much danger of getting the boot. Chelsea would probably have sacked Arteta by now, but Arsenal have stood by him. And I imagine if Villa had a season where they dropped to 15th in the table for a season, Villa would still have faith in Emery (only my perception).

Kieran Maguire has posted on his X account the profit/loss of every team in the PL over the last 30 years...

Good to see my team in profit over the 3 seasons we were in the PL. That's what happens when you spend almost nothing and sell your best players though 😅

Amazing data from Arsenal and Liverpool. Both have won the league a few times and either built a new ground or totally rebuilt one. Amazing stuff from Spurs minus the trophies but they do have the best ground in Europe.

City players have clubbed together to pay the £9,000 the fans paid for tickets to watch them play in Norway.

Me I would have been a lot happier if they had offered some of them a game. They might of performed better.

Not a bad start though.
Cant complain being 2 up at half time but cant say Newcastle have ever been totally comfortable in the match....PSV have been "busy" and obviously have a system that they play to that works well for them...obviously done their homework because we really don't play with any fluidity when teams press our defence when in possession. Hopefully PSV wont have as much energy kicking up the slope in the second half.
