Why did things not work out for Johnson at Spurs?

Most ppl seem to say good things about him, he seemed a goal threat and it isnt like Spurs have been immense without him

For whatever reason he didn’t seem to fit in with whatever system frank used and he he always appeared to drift in and out of games
