How much of that vitriol would be directed at the owner? A lot of Forest seem to think he can do as he likes but should he be getting more stick?
This mistake is COMPLETELY on him.

He bought Edu in, which has caused the issue with Nuno (either directly or indirectly....however Nuno knew he was coming in before he signed a new contract, so he's not completely blameless either)

He also hand picked Ange as Nuno's successor.

Marinakis has done more good than bad for the club, but this isn't his finest hour!

Mat Sels did his damnedest to help keep him in a job today.

Forest made it difficult for large parts of the game but, when a team has that much pressure and opportunities, eventually cracks will occur and in the end it was a comfortable, if not altogether convincing, win.

Newcastle are still not really firing on all cylinders, and are not really playing with the out and out intensity that they showed last season...perhaps that is deliberate on the part of the manager as we have more games to manage this season. Just on occasion though, this lower intensity results in the team coming under unnecessary pressure...especially when the odd pass is misplaced.

Still...5 clean sheets in 7 league games is nothing to be sniffed at, with only Arsenal and Liverpool breaching our defences so far (and Bradford if you include the League Cup).

Hopefully, after the international break we will have Wissa available for selection for the first time this season, which should give us a few more options up front allowing us to mix things up a bit and take some of the load off Woltemade....who scored again Mr Rummenigge.
Not sure if it's telling or not...but he put his Sofascore rating on his instagram stories (it was 8.7/10)....I'm not sure how much more he can do, but he must be getting sick of it to be honest.

Gibbs-White said the players have all bought in to Ange, but I'm not sure I'm convinced.....if He doesn't go today, we'll be stuck with him until Christmas, and I fear by that point, it'll be too late.

These comments really don’t help 🤦‍♂️

It’s an opinion easily qualified. Have their best team play the PL’s best team. That would answer the who’s best from a playing perspective. And then there’s the business perspective… just how big are their crowds/revenue generation?

I’m sort of ambivalent to are they, aren’t they? What would concern me is how much damage there’d be to the women’s game if they did play a full on game and got battered. You can almost hear the Neanderthals bumping their gums.

If it’s access to facilities, and they generate enough money to pay for that access, why not…

That’s the crux of it

No issues with the ladies teams etc getting access to everything that they bring in themselves

Wages , fees etc all should be proportional to the level of income they have

Her previous comments were about the ladies getting a revenue share of what a club brings in from all teams and think it was Carney who said that the income should be split 50/50 between the two teams

Any ladies team has to be self sustaining, can’t rely on revenue that the club brings in based on the level of the men’s team

Seems unfair on the couple of women's teams that aren't attached to a major men's club too (London City, Durham) if the others can piggyback off their men's teams. I also think they should be standalone operations.

I think any Premier League club would have the business sense not to send huge wages and subsidies to their women's teams with absolutely no return - possible exception of Man Utd. :ROFLMAO:

I'd be surprised if any ladies team covers its costs, not if you were to separate and add on the cost of the facilities they piggy back on currently. They are a gamble by clubs that eventually they will generate money. How long they give them.........interesting to see.

Most top level men's teams can't cover their costs nowadays, all are posting losses.

A few of ladies team generate a bit more income with the crowds they get and it’s no surprise it’s the big teams

Telly deals and sponsors are increasing but then so does their wages and fees etc

It’s ok for most at the moment but even with the national team winning I don’t see if making any huge rises

I recently found out that Sports Personality of the Year will be between McIlroy and Chloe Kelly by a friend. I said to the friend that in terms of achievement, winning the golf Grand Slam (and other events), whilst being part of the winning Ryder Cup side away from home in such a popular sport would, in normal circumstances, would beat a person who was essentially a sub, and happened to take the winning penalty for England (btw, I thought she did brilliantly, I just didn't think there was any comparison).

However, he explained to me that her achievement was in a major sport, in which BBC had it's biggest viewings for ther final, and in comparison golf is only a minor sport.

Well, if the above it true, the women have nothing to worry about. As a major sport, no doubt broadcasters and sponsors are going to invest hundreds of millions into the womens game, knowing that fans will pay money to watch them.
