Anyhoo, back to MFC. Robbie Savage cleared off to FGR. Now I thought immediately it was because we did not have the readies available for another push to win the next league. Others just thought it was because he wasn't to further his career. Now the owner has said he is going to step back from running the place, no surprise to me, I thought at soon as his mate Robbie cleared off he would do this. Now he's come out and said, er actually I'm completely clearing off. Also, the first team manager has announced he's clearing off as well. Now, obviously no one will come out and say the real truth, so we can only speculate. But, I think I've been proven right. and the money has run out.Well not run out but is not available to get us out of the league we afre now it. We have been using players that should be two leagues above where we are, hence the league wins. But now, we cannot afford to do this. So everyone at the top has gone. A further announcement came from the remaining people left to run the place. Part of it saying something to the effect of :- we are going to get the finances of the club to what we can afford. Well that's how I read it.
I'm not often wrong and I'm right again!

Not like Sky to skew anyone’s comments, is it?!
What Ratcliffe actually said is that Amorim NEEDS three years to prove himself, not that he will necessarily be given that period of time.
I’m sure everyone wants to give the manager time, rather than constantly changing personnel, but if things don’t change don’t for one minute think Amorim will still be there in another two years, because he won’t.
I’m sure it will be ok after all Gareth is a very patient manThe hype made by people when Radciffe speaks is hilarious, at sometimes pathetic. 24 hr media, social media, simply can't wait to write their headlines.
Radcliffe makes negative comments, he is battered and we are told he is lying and things are not that bad.
Radcliffe makes positive comments, he is battered for being delusional.
Radcliffe doesn't speak, he is battered for staying silent.
I completely agree with him. In principal, managers need time. Not a few months, not even a couple of seasons, they need more than that to see proper changes in their squad and performances. It's nice if there is almost immediate improvements, but even then sometimes that is just a false dawn. I completely expect bumps in the road, big ones as well given the state Utd have been in. I'm glad our owner had more patience than the media or fickle fans
Of course, he didnt say he would definitely remain in place. If Utd are down near the bottom after Xmas, if it becomes clear Amorim is lost, then I'm sure they'll look for someone else.

And just to underline my point, one of the presenters on SSN has literally just said to Charlie Austin that Jim Ratcliffe has confirmed “Ruben Amorim won’t be getting sacked, no matter what.”
What utter drivel. That is not what has been said at all.
Its constant. Everyone adding 2+2 to get answers of 5, 6, 7, 8....56347, 56348, etc. Not sure many have answered 4.And just to underline my point, one of the presenters on SSN has literally just said to Charlie Austin that Jim Ratcliffe has confirmed “Ruben Amorim won’t be getting sacked, no matter what.”

I often think it’s the media that create the drama that leads to a premature sacking. A manager has a bad run and the media ‘attack’ the manager. A player might, just might get called out for an abysmal display but it’s always the manager’s fault for picking, obviously knowing that the player was going to have a mare…
it’s not just the press media, but SM and those who can’t help themselves but have to repost the slightest thing to grab attention, and yes it happens here, and too bad if those do it don’t like the comments.I often think it’s the media that create the drama that leads to a premature sacking. He got it a couple of month back.Is Memphis Depay one if the forgotten men in Man Utd's history? Is he underrated, given what he has done since? When we look back at failed signings that are indicative of Man Utd's poor recruitement, players like Pogba, Di Maria and Sanchez are well remembered. Depay seems to be rarely mentioned.
Depay's time at Man Utd seems to fall into the depths of the shadows. Came to the club a decade ago, and in 2 seasons scored 2 goals in 33 appearances. I've not followed his career since, but he has had spells at Lyon, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid, and seems to have done very well, at least for lengthy spells. And he is on the verge of becoming the Netherlands all time top goalscorer, at the age of 31.

It also gives many of them to bring up staff redundancies and scrapping free lunches again. As if no business in the world streamlines when they are going through difficult periods.
They then compare that to the salaries players get. Well, here is a thought. Things like free lunches, to me, is a perk, not a right. Would it not be a far better idea that the players group together, and set up a scheme where they donmate a fraction of their salary to provide perks for the Manchester Utd staff? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure many of the players do a lot of good things for charities. However, even if they donated 0.5% of their salary to schemes to support the rest of the staff, that would be £15,000 a week, and nearly £800,000 a year.
