Oh for goodness sake there was no patronising šŸ¤¦ā€ā™‚ļø

I don’t read anyone saying he ā€œmustā€ move

One says he might be better off staying another season which might give him a better chance for the World Cup by staying in a settled environment

Where as others are saying this might be the best chance to move on to get a club playing in the top competition within European football which may give him a great chance of making the squad if he performs well

There is always a club that is a step up unless you are at Real Madrid

He could stay and be adored by Palace fans scoring scoring goals etc

He could also move and do that at another club playing in a stronger competition and a bigger team
I think it’s great we can have a discussion and have different opinions, is that not what the forum is about?

No offence meant to anyone and apologies if I have offended anyone and certainly I’m not offended by anyone’s comments.

Not even Phil’s šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

I'm offended that you think anyone might be offended! 🤣

Almost every player will want to move up to bigger and bigger clubs, make more money, play in the Champion's League and for England etc. The ones who haven't done that are notable for being in the minority, e.g. Le Tissier. And he finished up with only 8 caps.
Perhaps the England managers at the time foreshadowed what was to come....or he was as much of a strange basket case as he is now. šŸ˜†

Hope of course you're wrong. Ive been told Marc G is going and to Liverpool....only threat to that is if you have to push the money for Isak to a level that makes it too much to also buy him. Also told Marc is only interested in clubs who are CL next season, with Liverpool his preferred option. He will stay at Palace if he has to and wait for a deal.

Eze i hope we can keep, Arsenal will have to hit the release clause and they are well under it at the moment. Pray he stays.

Not ideal with this uncertainty and then today only learning our European fate. All i will say on that is I look forward hopefully to a long run in the conference, visiting some teams and places new to me along the way and wouldn't it be sweet to win ot and stick it up UAFA.

We've had an amazing few months, beating City and then Liverpool at Wembley and bringing silverware into a rather empty trophy cabinet (if we even owned one im not sure! ).

We have a world class manager and a great side with a good spirit. We will be fine. I just hope we have the players lined up to replace anyone who does leave šŸ™
Liverpool are becoming the Bonnie Blue of the PL...everyone wants to go there.

It all seemed pretty civil to me and both opinions are valid - can certainly see why Eze would stay ( and also Guehi ) helping them in the Conf league

Suspect the feeling at tbe club right now isn’t great

Sell him for £100m to any foreign club. 2026 is World Cup year...Isak needs to play somewhere and he knows it.

Personally I still think the likelihood is that he will go to Liverpool...but not until after 25th August when Newcastle host Liverpool....I think that is a date when all parties will be in a room together and will thrash something out.

Liverpool keep saying they need to be encouraged to place another bid....no they bloody well dont....if they want to open the door then they need to push on it...hard, very hard.

I think Isak could well end up going somewhere on loan.
Then a transfer next year

I think you are right - they will prob get two forwards in over the next week or so and then deal with Liverpool and sort a price out

It’s a shame that it’s being played out this way , I don’t like it at all

Lots of media nonsense as well and still not sure who is dealing with it at Newcastle’s end

Probably Jamie Reuben.

Think that just about sums it up and isn’t a great situation for your club.
It is indeed a sorry state of affairs. Just when it looks like the club is in a position to kick on and regularly seriously challenge for top 4 it goes to hell in a hand cart and I personally lay the blame squarely at the feet of that snake Dan Ashworth....it was lovely to see him get his just reward when he left Man U after just a few months...thrown out with the Tea Ladies by Ratcliffe.

Media are going all in now with reports that it was agreed last summer that this would be his last season etc and moving out of his house

The yellow banner will be following him now
