Germany 2-1 up, in total control of the game, against an Italy side who have been reduced to 9 men in the last ten minutes of the game, concede a 95th minute free kick on the edge of the box....and Ambrosini hammers the ball home to take the game into extra time.
Cant see how Italy can survive another 30 minutes without conceding again but you never know.
Been a game where both teams have largely cancelled each other out...lots of hustle and bustle but clear cut goalscoring opportunites have been rare. Both Italys goals were shots from left of the D, beating the keeper to his left.
Germany have probably carried more threat and must have thought they'd won it when they took the lead on 87 minutes.
30 mins extra time for the right to play France in the Semi-Final.
I expect some "dark arts" from the Italians.

It took Germany 26 minutes to make the breakthrough....just as it looked like they had run out of ideas, a shot from the edge of the box beats the keeper at his near post.

Any radio station (or any media outlet) that makes the choice to actually pay Agbonlahor needs to have serious word with itself.
Saw that and my immediate thought was, please, let’s just get rid. He has absolutely no clue how to project his image.
The irony shouldn’t be lost on anyone that the shirt he’s wearing bears the name of the man who seems to have taught him how to conduct himself, both on and off the pitch.

I gave up listening some time ago. I used to quite enjoy TS, especially when Laura Woods and Ally McCoist worked together. But it’s gone rapidly downhill.

It's a shame. When him and Rashford were left out earlier on in the season he looked as though he'd buckled down whilst Rashford threw a hissy fit. Garnacho then got back in the side and seemed to show as though he had a half decent attitude. Seems like I was wrong and he's exactly the sort of player (attitude) wise that Amorim wants out of the club.
Of all those we're trying to shift I think he could be the easiest although I'm hopeful we don't end up selling to a rival (Chelsea/Arsenal apparently keen)....

Whether he wants out or they want him out I don’t know,but…and a big BUT, do you wonder if that actually is a fake where someone has morphed the Rashford shirt on him.
They do it all the time when hyping up the gossip of a players going to a new club, for example Trent was posted many times in a RM shirt before he signed and was officially presented, so considering the ability of software do you not wonder if this is a fake?
It’s a possibility, I suppose. But I’m hoping it’s genuine so that my Monday morning post Spanish break grumpiness is well founded.
