I can remember smooth Des. When Gary started he was as wooden as a telegraph pole. Admittedly he got the hang of it in the end.

Getting us relegated to League 1 aside, hearing him tell "hilarious" stories about Brian Clough's alcoholism tells me enough about him.

Ah, fair enough. I don't listen to Talksport and only know him when he does tv pundit work. I like him as a co-commentator, probably the best one out there.
