John Stones and Pickford have been superb tonight.

Pickford has given the ball back to Spain every time he’s had it.
Good in goal but his long kicking has been rubbish.

Best team won .
To many of our top players just didn’t turn up.
We were very poor upfront considering all this talent we’ve got.

To many times GS waited until we conceded before making a substitution.

Felt sorry for Mainoo today who was isolated so often

Time to change the manager now. He’s had a good run and got the team to finals, but, you win games by attacking not defending. Kane should have been on the bench and only brought on if it was likely to go to pens.

Hey, the better team won tonight and, thankfully, we were not humiliated.
Southgate's luck finally ran out.
Hopefully he'll now retire and the new manager won't pick Kane.

Agree. Especially about rice.

Rice has been rubbish. We talk about Kane being poor but for me Rice has been woeful. We looked so open defensively, as we thought pre-tournament, with Rice offering nothing.

Unfortunately far too predictable .
To many players not playing well Bellingham and Foden were anonymous tonight but no subs to shore the game up for extra time.
The Spanish lads just waltzed through our midfield tonight.
GS just not proactive enough.

No. My son and his GF is here so he has commendeered mine.

Throughout the tournament England had moments - those moments got them back into games and won them games.

But they never controlled a game for any significant amount of time , they allowed every opposition the space and time to control the game and each time England had to get back in the game with a “moment”

They should be controlling the game , they have the quality

And they haven’t learned from the last final

So when there are 2 minutes to go and you need a goal it makes perfect sense to just go Route 1???
But for the rest of the match we have to try and build a hundred pass goal???
Maybe there is something in-between the two extremes that might work. We need a seasoned and successful Premier League manager. Nationality negotiable.

The Spanish were good, you have to be honest.
England gave a fair account of themselves and competed .. I do think some will feel they did not play their best but it was not for the want of trying.
I do believe that the squad should have been rotated a bit more and I stand by my view that Kane should not have started .. but we should be happy England is the first loser .. sorry did well to get to the final and to compete in the final.
