To be fair to Portugal I think they have played pretty well. They have spread the ball around, kept their shape, played with pace. They gave put good crosses in, had chances.The trend of the "so called, bigger teams" labouring against the less fancied one continues.
Slovenia have just defended very well. Very hard to break down a team that well organised, with good players.

My lad just referred to him as a wet wipe. Brilliantly put.
I’m staggered that a player of his stature should behave like that with fifteen still to go. He just has to be the centre of attention.

Quite. Really odd behaviour. When his side need motivating for the last fifteen minutes, he’s at the centre of the huddle blubbing like a toddler.

I just got the feeling that he knew all the cameras would be on him, and he’s milked it for all it’s worth.
I get it if they’d been knocked out. But that’s a remarkable way to react when there’s still a considerable time to play.
