TAA sleep-walking through this game. I've been watching him closely. Short pass, stand still, never gives an option. Actually walked towards Rice in the first half giving nothing but actually blocking anything else. Didn't press for the goal. First movement was hands behind back then flicked his leg at it.

He looks absolutely knackered doing nothing at all...

There is an obsession with getting Bellingham in the 10 for England. Sure he looks amazing there for madrid.. a team in a league that's not as competitive and they play very fluid football

Stick him at number 8 next to rice and get foden in there.

Space then for a left midfielder of some kind .. gordon will scare defenses

In what way because it’s the same turgid slow deep football but with the added someone on a yellow card after diving in too many times

Yeah, I think it's clear the Trent in midfield experiment hasn't worked, and will only get found out further when we play better teams. Third group game would be the ideal time to try Jude deeper, Foden in the number 10 and Gordon give us some legs down the left.
