1 title thoWhen they were really good with Mane and Salah firing on both cylinders they were amazing to watch though, better than City at times imo.
1 title tho![]()
Come 2nd twice.Bearing in mind they’ve had to compete against a dominant City team they’ve sort of done ok.
Yes like his finishing.I think thats Salah's last game for them. He looked decidely off the pace today, and his face during Klopps words on the young talent in the team didn't appear to go down too well.
Don't criticise Sir Klopp.1 title tho![]()
Totally agree and I think Liverpools demise started when they let Mane go. He was an absolute monster for them.1 title tho![]()
I noticed that too. It might be because apart from having his share of injuries this season, Klopp has tended to play Jones or Elliot and then swapped them through subbing. Considering Klopp has said he regrets not giving more game time to Elliot, you have to wonder.Yes like his finishing.
Thought Curtis Jones reaction to Klopp a bit strange.( maybe just me)
He didn’t seem to greet him the same as the others!
And yet only one of those has won the PL and CL with the same teamCome 2nd twice.
So not like City have stopped them every season.
Wenger,Jose,Ferguson all come up against tough opposition
Nunez,Gapko,Diaz expensive signingsTotally agree and I think Liverpools demise started when they let Mane go. He was an absolute monster for them.
Mane, Firmino and Salah were just unstoppable. Letting him go and not sorting out the disharmony between Salah and Mane never helped Liverpool.
Massively helped City though.
1 league title in 9 yearsAnd yet only one of those has won the PL and CL with the same team![]()
Which is.....1 more than Arsenal have won in 20 yrs is it?1 league title in 9 years![]()
If that is any sort of argument, then that works for me.Which is.....1 more than Arsenal have won in 20 yrs is it?
Got to say, I love your obsession with the man. Just shows what a charismatic manager he is![]()
You need more than 2 players to win a football game thoughBroke the transfer record for goalkeeper & defender i believe

Congratulations @Tashyboy I hope you enjoy it.Of all the titles we have won, this one I am gobsmacked with. Since Xmas City have been a machine, but once more Arsenal blew it from a dominant position. Same as last year. They like Liverpool before put themselves in pole position and basically failed in driving home there advantage.
I said some time ago it could go down to Goal difference. As it happened it was level. The points were not.
I have a feeling if Pep was the manager of Arsenal, they would now be champions. There is just that little extra from Pep as there is Arteta.
City, not bad from a club with no History continuing to make History. Next weekend City have Utd. You can rest assured that Pep will not let City rest on there Laurels. If City beat Utd they will be the first team to do the double double. That will drive Pep and City on.
In the immortal words of Status Quo.
Here we go oh, City win four in a row.
And I like it I like it I like it I like it,
I la La La like it. La La La like it,
Here we go oh City win four in a row.
Nunez defintely, Citys bench individually cost more than the other 2 no marks.Nunez,Gapko,Diaz expensive signings![]()
He only challenged City for that period of 3 seasons.Against a City side that’s been spending, and cheating, for 14 years. I think he and Liverpool have done remarkably well.
And think on the players City have brought in that have also ended up as no better than squad players.
