I think thats Salah's last game for them. He looked decidely off the pace today, and his face during Klopps words on the young talent in the team didn't appear to go down too well.
Yes like his finishing.

Thought Curtis Jones reaction to Klopp a bit strange.( maybe just me)
He didn’t seem to greet him the same as the others!

1 title tho 🤷‍♂️
Don't criticise Sir Klopp.

I agree, massively over rated. Very good manager, no doubt. But, he basically hit a sweet spot with a very good team, for 3 seasons (2018 to 2022). In that period, they played on the crest of a wave, albeit only beating City once to the title.

Other than that, they haven't exactly lit the league alight. The 3 seasons before the purple patch they finished 8th, 4th, 4th. Then after the purple patch 5th, 3rd.

I think he realised he will struggle to find another VVD, Allison, Salah, Mane, etc. Especially when he brings in flops like Nunez. So, quitting now while most are fooled by his genius for having 3 good seasons is a pretty good idea. Rather than stay on and risk going out a bit like Wenger did.

I noticed that too. It might be because apart from having his share of injuries this season, Klopp has tended to play Jones or Elliot and then swapped them through subbing. Considering Klopp has said he regrets not giving more game time to Elliot, you have to wonder.:)

Totally agree and I think Liverpools demise started when they let Mane go. He was an absolute monster for them.
Mane, Firmino and Salah were just unstoppable. Letting him go and not sorting out the disharmony between Salah and Mane never helped Liverpool.
Massively helped City though.
Nunez,Gapko,Diaz expensive signings 😬

Which is.....1 more than Arsenal have won in 20 yrs is it?
Got to say, I love your obsession with the man. Just shows what a charismatic manager he is:)
If that is any sort of argument, then that works for me.

It just shows what a charismatic manager ETH is, based on the obsession everyone has with him. Southgate as well :D

Of all the titles we have won, this one I am gobsmacked with. Since Xmas City have been a machine, but once more Arsenal blew it from a dominant position. Same as last year. They like Liverpool before put themselves in pole position and basically failed in driving home there advantage.
I said some time ago it could go down to Goal difference. As it happened it was level. The points were not.
I have a feeling if Pep was the manager of Arsenal, they would now be champions. There is just that little extra from Pep as there is Arteta.
City, not bad from a club with no History continuing to make History. Next weekend City have Utd. You can rest assured that Pep will not let City rest on there Laurels. If City beat Utd they will be the first team to do the double double. That will drive Pep and City on.
In the immortal words of Status Quo.
Here we go oh, City win four in a row.
And I like it I like it I like it I like it,
I la La La like it. La La La like it,
Here we go oh City win four in a row.

Guess it shows the manner of the man when the talk is about Klopp as opposed to who won the title - even City fans talking about him

Seen a few tweets that say 61% of Sky Sports viewers watched Klopp leaving as opposed to 21% watched City lift the trophy

Some will always point to 1 title etc etc

But as said early- his legacy will be in the journey and the comparison between the team he took over to one he leaves is night at day

He took over a team mid table , built it up over a few years ( what most teams without oil money needs to do ) then was successful with that team. It then goes through a transition and it’s rebuilding again now

There is far too many now just looking or expecting instant success when it’s rare without unlimited money

Stats show him amongst the best the premier league has seen

Enjoy it @tashy

Congratulations @Tashyboy I hope you enjoy it.

Against a City side that’s been spending, and cheating, for 14 years. I think he and Liverpool have done remarkably well.

And think on the players City have brought in that have also ended up as no better than squad players.
He only challenged City for that period of 3 seasons.

It is a myth that Liverpool have been toe to toe with City since Klopp's arrival. It has been Arsenal that have challenged City the last 2 seasons.
