VARsenal strike again

I'd honestly say it's incompetence from var for everyone

We had a goal wrong ruled out by var yesterday then wolves had one wrongly ruled out at the end aswell

Bonkers

They don't know what their doing. It's every game almost now

We'll be getting season ticket renewals through soon, which I can almost guarantee will be higher than last year, (why wouldn't they try to gouge a little more when there's a waiting list to fill your place), asking us to pay for the opportunity to watch a sport that has been completely ruined. VAR was supposed to help them get the decisions right, its just highlighted how dreadful they are instead.

100% that game was ridiculous yesterday

Both pens were pens agree

But both goals ruled out were perfectly fine goals

Cancel each other out in a way but it shouldn't be like that

After watching MOTD I think the Wolves goal was correctly ruled out. The Wolves player is backing into Fab (in fact he is only in that position to impede the keeper, Antonio does it all the time)

They put the rule up on the screen last night showing the attacker was offside and nowhere in the rule does it say “prevents the goalkeeper from diving for the ball, in the event the shot is saveable”

Gary O was saying it’s the worst VAR decision in history! 😂😂😂 it wasn’t even the worst VAR decision of the match!

If it was areola I might agree but fab would never save that lol 🤣 maybe 5 years ago

Ours is going up about 10%. Why? Pure greed by the owners. I will renew but because of VAR going to live football has never been less enjoyable , you just cannot celebrate a goal anymore.

I packed in with our season tickets the season after Covid. One of the main reasons was VAR. I have said it before and I will say it again. Var for match going fans is purgatory. It sucks the atmosphere out of games. Re Armchair fans/me. It’s different, you get to see every angle even if it takes 5 minutes.
Re season ticket prices going up. City fans are going bonkers. Once more prices going up, record revenue, record deals done with “ partners”.

He's probably my least favourite player in the league - and that's one hell of a list to top!

I used to have a soft spot for Arsenal as my best friend was a huge fan. I find the current team and their manager's antics pretty objectionable.

Before the usual culprits take offence at my comment and feel the need to argue - don't bother. It's just my opinion and all you'll do is cement that.

Feel free to have pops at City - water of a duck's back :-)

Yes he obviously didn’t watch Spurs v Liverpool game.

But he did say “ VAR has had a bad day, but we’ll gloss over that” right at the start of the show last night.

Daniel Levy was paid a 3 million bonus at the same time Spurs are drastically cutting senior citizens season tickets concessions.

No wonder fans are up in arms , it’s disgraceful.

On the flip side, sometimes a goal can be celebrated twice!
And both times it’s lacking something because the moment has passed… the original goal celebration is stilted then the “confirmation” is not spontaneous…. It’s just not the same.

Mind you I did celebrate like a loon when the Wolves goal was scrubbed 😁

For the amount of money they'll make, is it worth the bad PR when they're already making 100's of millions of pounds via TV rights?
