No VAR is the technology - the officials and communications etc have always been there

VAR is here to stay now , genie is out of the bottle , there are many ways that it needs to improve , it’s worked well in major tournaments and in other sports.

VAR doesn’t stop some official just generally being awful at their job

Shockley park hasn’t that’s a product of VAR.

It’s always very tight when it comes to offsides of that nature and the naked eye at times just won’t be sharp enough and it’s been shown quite a lot that in the past many flags going up have been wrong and at times when a player is offside flag not raised - VAR is at least good for offsides when they sort out the semi automatic one
