He’s been watching TAAMOTD made me chuckle having a goal of the game comp.
Walker played like he has something on his mind.
Looks like he’s playing very high these days higher than normal .
So his pace is not enough on its own .
Once the players turned him inside last night he looked flat footed.
Just in general the defending in the PL has been quite poor this season imo.

Not with offsides. They get 99.9% of them correct with VAR. The downside, of course, is the additional time it takes to come to the decision.

It depends at what point they freeze the video to draw the lines: the frame before the ball leaves the last player's foot or the frame after?
The frames are every 50th of a second. The fastest footballers can run 7 inches in that time and they're drawing lines to about 1 inch.

Almost four minutes to decide the first offside !
Why are they looking at anything else if the first offside is correct,, .

Agrees, it takes too long, and no idea why that was the case as it was the first offside they were looking at.
Furthermore, I actually thought the Everton player was being fouled, Villa player dragging him down to try and ensure he stayed onside. Maybe the order they have to look at it is offside first, then any foul after. But 4 minutes seemed pretty crazy anyway.

Scrappy game but I'll take a point against a good Villa side. We didn't let Villa flow, that takes some doing this season.

It was managed ok but plenty of mistakes through that period - at least now there is a better chance of getting it , just need to sort out the process better
