Nor Spurs

Spurs have actually rejected!

No sign of the big two, Barca & Real Madrid who also have the Spanish TV deal sown up in their favour. I wonder if there’s truth in the rumours that both have spent way beyond their means and need the super league.

They wont - they're the ones still pushing for it.

Barca's financial mess is well documented, they are desperate for this to happen.

Very happy to see the list of clubs rejecting the super league continues to grow:

Man United
Man City
Chelsea
Celtic
Sevilla
valencia
Athletico Madrid
Real Sociedad
Villareal
Bayern
Dortmund
PSG
Monaco
Inter
AS Roma
Am chuffed you said Clubs and not teams. And there in lies a massive problem for me. 15 years ago City, Villarreal, Real Sociedad, PSG and probably a few others would not have been on that list. UEFA, FIFA, Breakaway super leagues are looking after their own interests and the big Clubs and not teams. And certainly not fans.

Well without these clubs involved it is not a European super league.

Its just a European League of quite literally Barca, Real and a few from Italy (who may yet reject it)

Non starter - learn the lesson - Don't mess with football.

I think it is quite ironic that all the clubs who are distancing themselves from the Super League are saying they are doing it for the fans. They aren't so quick to think of the fans when they sell out to the TV companies and play games at every time of day meaning the fans have to travel back from away games at 7/8 o'clock on Sunday evenings, etc. Also, where is the thought for the fans when ticket prices go up every year?

They're simply saving face after the last debacle.

I note Newcastle and Villa haven't said anything.. because we weren't included last time so there's no need :ROFLMAO:

The TV companies are the ones who call the fixture times and planning.
Whos is it that complains when their club doesn't spend money...?....oh yes, the fans.
Were Newcastle or Villas fans pleased with Mike Ashley and Doug Ellis because they didn't spend moeny? or did they complain bitterly?

Can someone explain? I understand the foul on the goalie. But the Villa guy who fouled the goalie was having his shirt pulled right off his back at the same time.
