I presume you would have been happy for West Ham to have taken Sheffield UTDs place in the championship all those years ago then?

Ironically tevez didn't score the winning goals lol 🤣

10 point bottle job Sheffield United mucked up amazing style

What I never understood is why for 1 3rd party ownership was banned in premier league but loans were fine and how man United were fine to have the same agreement the next year? (no wait that was a loan.. so its fine to loan from a 3rd party but not "buy" from a 3rd party) all very muddy

All very strange

plus this bit of the saga

The verdict also rules "the registration of Carlos Tevez could be terminated by the Premier League", but Tevez is later cleared to play in the Hammers' remaining fixtures of the 2006/07 season.

Thats a lot of words without answer......

I do agree with the sentiment re Toney, but ifnhe was banned and found innocent PL would of had more trouble.

But he pleaded guilty rather than found guilty , yes some offences he pleaded not guilty yet the amount he pleaded to would have covered the rest of the season

They were never gonna do it in two steps.

Anyways, we've already covered, it's simply tough luck on clubs he played against.

So Ton ey is banned for 8 months starting immediately. He can start training with Brentford in September and plays from 17th January next year.
however in Rugby Union in Australia a player is banned for 96 weeks, in essence it means a 5 year ban as it only runs during the Rugby season. And his. Luv agree with the ban.Seems to be someone has got it wrong.

Football gets a lot of things wrong.

Is that the rugby player who assaulted a referee?

City with 80% possession and 7 shots versus none from Madrid. How long before Benzema or Vinicius put Madrid 1-0 up on a counterattack?

EDIT - and just as I post City go and score. What do I know? This is a rhetorical question and the answer can be seen from the PL predictions thread.
