23 thousand fans replied to the survey some interesting reading amongst it, opinions varied amongst the age range, surprisingly some of the younger fans didn’t even realize it was deemed as racist by some.

Home fans or all fans that were surveyed?

SO some young fans dont know its derogatory but its still ok to treat them differently based on assumption of their intentions depending on which end theyre sitting in?


Might be easier to assume were not going to agree on this one I think
 
when I see discussions similar to the Spurs fans and there proud identity chat. It always reminds me of this

I learned of this on a trip to Amsterdam. They the LGBT community use this symbol now as a positive. The spurs fans now use the chant as a proud identity. However as has been pointed out, others use that term in a derogatory term. These chants, symbols, Statues etc are part of history. There’s an old saying “ don’t forget where you have come from because one day you may end up back there”.

That’s the pyramid of football

The Dutch league isn’t seen as a pinnacle for the players so anyone who shows high ability will have clubs from the Prem and the likes of Madrid and Barce sniffing around them

For clubs to not lose players they need to be competitive and winning the top trophies. We lost many a player to the likes of Madrid and Barce when we weren’t at the top.

There is always someone richer and bigger willing to take your best players

Yes I agree .
but we’re seeing the results of certain teams that just hoover up players.
There has been to much looking the other way it needs sorting out once and for all.

and it *is* a great story, to be fair. Ryan and Rob seem to have the best interests of the club at heart (which is more than some owners).

I found it highly amusing that Billy Sharp (who I love) got SO rattled by a National League side and made himself look like a total helmet in his interview after the game. Of course Wrexham were looking towards Spurs - it was the opportunity for them (a non-league side) to host one of the top teams in the Premier League (and they might well have done it if not for Paul Mullin being taken off injured)

Think Missing the second pen was crucial.
gave away two bad goals at the end .

Yea, was very Harry Kane vs France vibes for that second pen. But definitely the turning point - then he went off a few mins later and you could see they were hanging on after that. Sharp's goal to make it 2-1 was well taken and he rarely misses.

Their away end was absolutely bonkers, so fair play to them for giving it socks all game. Proper support, that.
 
I was disappointed to find out that Man Utd versus Leeds is not on TV tonight. Because it was not due to be televised when it was originally meant to be played (Queen's passing), means it cannot be televised now. Given the rivalry that Man Utd versus Leeds has been a pretty big, I was thinking the games broadcast that weekend must have been big ones (5 games were broadcast). The broadcast games were:

Villa v Southampton
Wolves v City
Spurs v Leicester
Brentford v Arsenal
Everton v West Ham

I guess it is a sign of the times, that broadcasters didn't want the Man Utd v Leeds match.
