That’s fine,all I’m saying is it’s Palaces prerogative to keep their player for another season even if they know he’ll leave on a free next season.Parish had said a while ago that he would rather sell the player now than let him walk for nothing as there was no chance he was signing a new contract.
The problem Palace had was that they didn't get the replacements in early enough, which the manager didn't like.
It's easy to see both sides of the arguement
If he has another good season he’ll be able to demand bigger wages as there’ll be no fee for him.
Maybe he’ll have other clubs fighting for his signature.
