Well, the dust has settled a bit after last night and I'm still immensely proud of my club.

Champions league record at Villa Park was absolutely incredible, 1 draw and we won every other game.

Desperate to be back in Europe next season at any level, we have to maintain this for as long as possible to keep growing.

A league campaign to now focus on and hopes of an FA cup too. Still so much to play for!

Up the Villa!
What a night and even as a neutral (OK wanted an English club to win) I thought it was on. I feared for you at 2-0 on the night but had the last goal gone in you'd have won it in extra time as you had so much momentum. I hope your season doesn't implode on the back of last night but I am sure Unai will make sure they stay focussed

It was a VAR call that came out of the blue. No one was expecting it.

Defender did pull Arsenal player, although I thought the Arsenal player dragged the Madrid player's arm just before. Interesting call, maybe Saka felt sorry for them. Very bad penalty
Got to take advantage of a decision like that. Very rare to get that in such a big game

Eze one of the worst penalties I’ve ever seen.

Add Saka to that.😳
Those types of penalties drive me nuts. Give it a belt. Absolutely embarrassing.

Incidentally, the ineptitude of the penalty has glossed over the ridiculous amount of time it took to give it. Really poor.

Anyway, the wide men of Newcastle continue their impressive form.
