Yates got it in the ground. 👍

Very impressed with Neco too.

Bit concerned about Aina going off. 🙁

Man Utd can play some pretty passing but were absolutely toothless with their final product. I don’t think I felt nervous once about conceding.

And did I see it correctly - Maguire brought on as a striker?!?! 🤣🤣🤣
To be fair, he made the difference and they looked a threat in the 10 mins he was on.

Do any United fans realise how low their standards have sunk?

Deep in the bottom half and beaten at Forest, yet they're surprisingly positive and claim it was the best performance for ages. This is from a club who considered second a failure and used to mock Arsenal for being happy with Top 4. Even Hodgson was sacked when Liverpool reached 12th. Mad. The team won't improve for years because the owners can get away with it and even then the fanbase makes excuses.

United were always going to dominate the game because that's exactly what Forest wanted and set up for. It was as a predictable outcome as you could imagine and that's with Forest missing their main striker.

well played @Bazz , i will say we looked better in the second half than the first when fulkerg came on. I hope we keep him as he has something about him. but you guys defo deserved that game. you were much slicker. Only 2 real chances for us and both from mistakes from you guys rather than good play from us.

What's the point in stating the obvious? Are their any Man Utd fans in here that think they are one of the best sides in the league this season? I think not.

If Utd fans whinge about not winning the game, they are told off for living in the past, and they are not the team they where. And if Utd fans at least take positives out of a defeat, they are asked if they realise how far they've fallen.

Regardless, I thought it was a decent performance, if people really love talking about "style of play". Yes, partly because Forest aren't great in possession, and play counter attacking football. But, we've been absolutely gormless in the past, against much weaker opposition, so it's a positive that players actually showed they could pass, move and control the ball more often than not.

I think we also realise we are absolutely toothless in front of goal. Garnacho wears blinkers, so he can be a complete waste of time sometimes. I want to seem him do well at Utd, but wouldn't be sad if we managed to sell him for a decent fee. We need good attacking options, and we just don't have those at the moment.

Yes, we are aware 😂

Could've been so different if the lad had scored from a few yards out, looked a sitter from where I was standing, and still could've snatched a point at the end. I'd guess the season is over for thr both of us, reset and have another go next year. It's been bloody awful.

You could have bet the house on Saka scoring after all that hype around his return. Not a great performance but I didn't expect to get anything so not too upset. Can't see anything from Saturday as well and season in danger of petering out with a whimper

😂😂😂
I’m sure they’ve noticed.

Ours had been a real car crash of a season and the sooner it’s over the better. What i struggle with is how boring we are! We set up so negatively to avoid the thrashings we were regularly getting under the Lop but it means we are so dull to watch. 6 goals in the last 9 games is awful.
When I renew this year it will be my 49th year and I cannot remember ever feeling more disillusioned with football. I think I only go now out of habit! (That and still going with my 82 year old dad who has sat by my side for nearly half a century!) 😁

I do feel for you. West Ham have always had a reputation for playing good football with flair players like Devonshire etc throughout the years. This seems like a don't lose at all cost aproach that isn't working and players seem scared to be creative. Reminds me of the bad days at Fulham when we had Wilkins in charge in the lower divisions and a few years later Parker in the PL

Maybe not keeping Moyes wasn’t the best idea in the world

Solid league finishes , getting into Europe , winning a trophy

I'm guessing Elanga's style is a perfect fit for Forest. He is rapid. If they are happy to spend most of the game defending, players like him are excellent on the counter.
He is a step up from the Man Utd wide players because he has an end product , the same with CHO as well

Swap Garnacho and Elanga around and United would have won that game

What price can you put on those memories with your old man? (Some you'd rather forget, but plenty of good ones I'm sure.)

I'm pretty much the same, the best part of the day is with the lads up until kick off, they won't be dropping season ticket prices next season, £750 for that, but I can't stop. Like those blokes who pay women to kick them in the nuts.

Agree about the memories and wish the old man and I could go to a few games still - more play one more round of golf. I'd have given anything for that. At least I have the memories I do have and they are priceless. Football is cyclical. All teams have good and bad times. SOmetimes youhave to have the bad times to appreciate the good times more

When I watched City get battered by the team that Amorim managed in the champs league ( sporting cp). I must say I was massively impressed with his team. When he went to Utd I must say I thought it a step in the right direction.
But I have massive reservations and it is nothing to do with Amorim. But more to do with who picked him. When Sporting battered City, it was very similar to last nights game between Forest and Utd. City dominated Sporting and were hit on the break far to regular. Utd dominated Forest who hit on the break. But Sporting had players like Gyokores, he was fantastic. Last night Utd brought on a defender as the strikers are just not doing it. This sums it up.
And there in lies the problem.
Amorim had the players at Sporting to play his limited system. At Utd he don’t. I don’t blame Amorim for that but surely whoever choose Amorim must of realised that. Did Amorim realise that ? The thing is that it has gone on and on with far to many managers.

Another thing that I noticed the other day that should be a concern. Scruffy Jim’s INEOS.
I was first aware of this with the cancellation of the New Zealand all blacks sponsorship.

Big Jim is looking down the back of the settee for loose change. The guy brought in to oversee the financial situation of Utd has not got his own house in order. And it seems to me that Karen who works in the INEOS canteen could be outta work soon.

There’s just something about UTD at the moment is seriously not adding up. A guy who’s own company is massively in debt is brought it to sort out a company/ football club who is massively in debt. Yet there are grandiose plans for a new multi billion pound stadium. 😳 and The team needs hundreds of millions spending on it. 😳 And yet Utd fans are happy that last night was a step In the right direction.

This is going to run and run re the Utd woes and won’t be rectified til the club is sold. But if you were the Glaziers, would you sell the golden goose whilst continuing to sell the golden eggs.
