Surely Arteta has to act and bring in a striker this window? He's done a very good job rebuilding Arsenal but he seems blind to the fact he will get sacked soon unless he wins major trophies and he won't do that with the current attackers. In 2023 they needed a striker and he didn't act, the same thing happened last summer. It looks like stubbornness will cost him.

Havertz was tragic today and has been all season.

I keep thinking that surely hes got to be under some pressure to deliver soon? 6 years hes been there, spent plenty of money building "his squad" and hes delivered one FA cup in his first 6 months.

But he said he has won majors trophies 🤷‍♂️

I was listening to 5 live yesterday evening and the fawning over Tamworth was vomit inducing 😅 perhaps they can build a statue of the chap with the long throw. 🤣🤣
It’s a non league side that held spurs during normal time

Believe it’s 95 places between the two of them

They are going to try any way to get a result against a team that is worth multi millions

They should be getting plaudits this morning

At least they are now talking about how plucky little Man Utd managed to get past a big team into the next round as well - maybe they would have preferred a money spinning replay to help with finances
Not just that. Also how plucky little Man Utd managed to stop the mighty Liverpool from getting all 3 points the week before. In fairness, from an attacking sense, Dalot was made to look like a 24 year old Ryan Giggs that day. Every other game, he has looked a bit more like Phil Jones in attack :ROFLMAO:

Every now and then the little teams dig deep and grab a shock result - good thing about football 👍

Now that I am retired and have a bit more "time flexiility" I thought I'd try to see if I can acquire a few tickets for football matches.

Used to be a Newcastle season ticket holder (living in East London and laterly Ipswich) but gave that up when small kids came along as i couldn't spend a Saturday on trains, in bars and at football and then disappear off to the golf course on a Sunday. Also, Sky messing around with fixture times/dates made a lot of games simply impossible to attend without incurring hotel fees and additional time off work.....so the season ticket was surrendered to maintain a degree of marital harmony.

I've still managed to get to the odd away game in the last 24 years but nothing like what I used to.

But, like I say, I now have more time, so for the last couple of years I've paid my £35 a year to become a "club member" and have entered the "ballot" for the remaining tickets after season ticket holders and away fans and other "priority" groups have taken up their allocation. After the ballot comes a general sale of tickets that are still remaining (usually tickets that have been returned in the period after the ballot has taken place)....the general sale is all web driven (a new thing this season, previously by phone it was an utter night mare) with users invited to enter a queue and await "entry" into the ticketing system.

So, having failed in the ballot for tickets to the Fulham game on 1st March, this morning I thought I would try my luck in the general sale. I logged on half an hour before the general sale started and at 10am a new window popped up, happily telling me that I was now in the queue and my queue number is 28,421. Now, nearly 15 minutes later, there are still 27,023 people ahead of me in the queue!!

I think we need a bigger stadium!!

How much could Tamworth have earned from a replay at Spurs? Really annoys me that they've got ridden of them when they travel thousands of miles for friendlies.
I thought the same - I didn't even realise they'd changed this. I was playing golf yesterday afternoon, just checking the score on my phone. I said to my mate "we've done the decent thing and made sure they get a replay at White Hart Lane". Then checked back later and realised it had gone to extra time. Another bit of the magic dies while they make life easier for the bigger clubs I guess. Tamworth were never going to last 120 minutes against a Prem side were they? FA Cup has been ruined. But they've already ruined the World Cup, and all the European club competitions, so they might as well spoil the FA Cup to complete the set.

In fairness, if you think Spurs still play at White Hart Lane, then I'm not surprised you didn't realise they recently scrapped FA Cup replays :)
