I'm surprised at the lack of the discussion on the Nunez non-sending off
No point. We've seen from officials that players can get away with throwing shoulders and elbows into the face of the opponent these days without getting sent off. Even if they make a clear swing of an elbow at a players face and miss, it is no red card.

Nunez knew what he was doing, looked at De Ligt and then threw his shoulder into his face. He is a truly horrible guy, but he probably knew he'd get away with it.

TAA has a good right foot, that is where the similarity ends.

Beckham had the heart of a lion, and would sweat blood for his club or England. He often played wide right to take advantage of his crossing, but could easily play central midfield. He never played right-back (that I remember), but I'm sure he could do a job there if asked. He certainly wouldn't lack the work rate anyway.

Beckham had a lot of attributes that TAA severely lacks. He often looks lost when out of possession, and I wouldn't play him in central midfield either, as he looks out of his depth there as well. Sure, he might play one or two great passes, but it is a risk playing him there based on what he lacks.
This is sort of what I was getting at. If Beckham came through today, he'd probably have to play at right wing back - or maybe right of a midfield three. And people would be saying he can't tackle etc. In his day you would play someone who's good at crossing on right midfield, nowadays that doesn't happen - wingers are essentially forwards and the crosses come from the wing backs.

Leicester City’s win was magical for the Premier League (I accept a Forest fan may feel uncomfortable with that!)

Speaking for myself only, I was genuinely pleased for them at the time, for the very reason that it was good to see a "smaller" club pulling off that sort of feat.

Funny thing with Leicester is that they see themselves as our rivals, but we don't reciprocate it. We'll mention them in the occasional song, but really it's Derby we dislike the most! Although we're a little way off any sort of chance of playing regular fixtures against them at the moment!

Must say though, my dislike of Leicester has grown in recent weeks, given their disgusting treatment of the legend that is Steve Cooper.

Which is precisely why Leicester’s title in 2016 was the best thing to happen to the Premier League in years.

I wasn’t around this forum when United were good. Had I been, you would have heard me say it was boring to see any single team run away with the league, especially if it happened for several years. City’s four on the trot has been really bad for the league as a whole.

Give me an exciting league any day. And if that includes non “big six” teams, so much the better. Leicester City’s win was magical for the Premier League (I accept a Forest fan may feel uncomfortable with that!), not least because it meant that, the following August, 20 teams kicked off their seasons with hope that they might achieve something.

It’s what football, and the rivalry which comes with it, is all about.
I think we all maybe a bit guilty of looking at Leicester PL win through tose tinted glasses, yes it was great for a “smaller” team to break through, but it sadly did nothing in the after period.

That season wasn’t about Leics as it went on, it was about the other teams struggling and bad form and when will Leics crumble etc, during that season they didn’t get the credit they deserved, the focus was on issues with other Clubs, more about they “lost” it rather than Leics “won” it.

We need 1 or 2 repeats for it too lose the fairytale element of it.

Maybe it’s being an Everton fan and the ups and down it’s brought, but I’ve not lost interest in the League or found it boring because a single team has dominated it, whether that be, Lpool in the 80’s, Utd then Arsenal then Chelsea, now City.

Plenty to play for outside of winning it.

Don’t disagree, Paul, but when the August that year came around Leicester’s achievement allowed everyone connected with the other 19 clubs in the division to believe.

Which is why (apologies to Liverpool fans) I’m hoping Forest pull off the impossible. Because it will allow me, a fan of a now bang average side, to dream again!!

Sky Sports reporting that his future "Hangs in the Balance" Sounds typical of the way West Ham is run. Just sack him already, its obvious its not working and what he is trying to do the players are just not buying into.

I'm indifferent to him in most things however his treatment of Summerville is a hill I'll die on

Champ player of year. Similar numbers to Bowen

Bearly gets a sniff

Kudus gets sent off , does he start? Nope. Comes on scores...

Next game starts and hooked at half time because we went down to 10

Hooked again the gunners when he was one of our best players first half

Kudus back. Straight into team in place of Summerville..

Now Bowen's out he should get his chance but with j-lo he would rather play paquata there who is massively out of form
