Did anyone genuinely expect INEOS to come to man Utd, get every single decision spot on, and produce a Premier league challenging side within a year or two? I suspect the answer to that is is no, they didn't expect that.

With Utd so far behind where they want to be, a lot of big decisions need to be made, and the answer to some of those decisions will be wrong. I'm OK with that, as long as they learn quickly from it. As long as a lot of the other decisions they make end up being correct. And, maybe within 3-5 years, Utd will actually have a much more reliable set of players, and be playing better, more consistent football.

With the non-playing staff, at least they are able to make quick decisions after employing someone, and then changing their mind. With so many important people coming into the club at the same time, I guess the chances were quite high that they wouldn't all end up making the A-Team. Making mistakes in player recruitment is much more difficult to rectify, given players get huge contracts and can't just be made redundant or a willing buyer found.

Hang on! The article from the Daily Mail Phil posted clearly stated that the Referee got it wrong on the day and he now feels it should of been Offside and a Red Card, as the offside wouldn’t of stopped him from giving a Red Card for serious foul play.

On the day he didn’t and VAR didn’t see it as a foul, that’s why their was no retrospective action, they reviewed it at the time.

If they had given Offside and not looked at the challenge, the PL could have taken retrospective action.
It was given as offside I’m sure.

So if they could have looked at it retrospectively and didn’t that’s just not doing your job properly.
But we’re talking VAR here who think you can elbow someone as long as it’s not to forceful 😳 Spurs game.!

Maybe they might be able to get at least get a couple of decisions right

Seems to be moving from one bad call to the next

They £66 ticket issue needs to be sorted very quickly

They make a fortune each season and just because someone has wasted millions I don’t think making the kids pay silly prices will sort it

If I hadn't known the Merseyside derby was postponed this weekend, I'd have assumed that Pickford had injured VVD again, given the incessant posts about it today.

We've also had Son on Gomes. Anybody else want to chip in with their grievances about something that happened in the last 10-20 years? :)

That Palace fan deserved a kicking, 9 month ban for Cantona was well harsh.

Onfield decision at the time was Offside, FA then asked Officials if they’d considered the foul at the time, which they said they had. If they’d of said No, FA could of retrospectively charged Pickford with Serious Foul Play.

Apparently Serious Foul Play is the only offence players can be done for retrospectively, but only if Officials have not seen it at the time.🤷‍♂️
