As the picture is already in the public domain I’m not going to delete it from here, but will urge a degree of caution because I know how secure these scenes are kept.
If that is genuinely an image of his car, it’s been leaked by either someone from within the emergency services or a vehicle recovery agent, because no press or public would have been allowed anywhere near it.

Plus. Is it just me or does that picture look odd. Bonnet intact. Drivers side to door jamb has gone...could be completely wrong but it may not be genuine.

Unfortunately pictures all over Internet of the Car, including some on the Daily Mail site with other cars driving past, looks like road is open with car still in situ.
I’ve cut off the majority of the crashed car, maybe due to weather conditions they can’t recover it straight away and have reopened the road.
If that’s the case then this is nowhere near as serious as has been suggested. There is absolutely no way on earth the police will leave a road open with a collision vehicle in full view of the press and public in such a way if a collision involves fatalities, or likely fatalities. Certainly not in my experience.
