With the way the league is there is very much a chance of the team moving up the league with some results

The signings made were for ETH and his system , Amorin is a different system

But it’s also a brutal game and results are key and he will still need to find a way to get consistent results

At least Amorim has a system mate😂

Watching ETH you never knew what was going to happen and there wasn’t any style or organisation. The only constant was him making subs (3 on after 65 minutes)

He was shocking yesterday for 70 mins then gets mom from Carrager for scoring .😳
He won’t tackle anyone and teams have worked that out imo.

He’s a great footballer but I think Slot won’t be that bothered if he goes.

I think he’s invaluable to Liverpool. He’s one of only a few players in the Prem to have composure / quality in the final third, and he never lets the team down. He might not be a box to box workhorse but he always steps up.

Liverpool losing Mo or VVD is akin to City losing Rhodri. Just my opinion of course.

He imo is still criminally underrated

He must be one of the best foriegn players to have played in the Prem now

His output is staggering

He does press - he is a key reason why we are 8 points clear right

He is our best player right now and the club will be working to keep him
Come on he couldn’t tackle a wet paper bag.

He shouldn’t be saying things in public until it’s sorted.

He’s a fantastic player I have said so!
I just get the feeling Slot is thinking of doing without him.

You don’t need to be able to tackle to press a player -I’m more than happy to not see him throwing himself into tackles

Why would Slot be thinking that 🤷‍♂️

He is still one of the best in the World , there aren’t many out there that can replace him and even then will cost a fortune , still potentially got at least 2 years left at the top

The club want him to stay he wants to stay - they will find middle ground

If the left back has worked out he’s not going to tackle him he knows he has time on the ball.

Just my feeling !

Not sure I mentioned it yesterday, but awkward moment of the weekend for me was that, mid-way through Amorim responding to questions given to him post match by the Sky pundits by the side of the pitch, Ed Sheeran decides to barge in and join the panel, getting all cuddly with his pal Jamie Redknapp. Amorim looked confused as to what was going on, as did the rest of the panel. They all had to pretend to be grateful that Sheeran had graced them with his presence, whilst also sending the message across to him to get lost.

They probably only had a limited time frame to question Amorim, and likely a more important part of their job than normal, given it was his first post match interview at Utd, and wanting to find out what he felt after finally seeing his players in action. Having a pop star jump in at that time might have been the worst time to do so. I thought Amorim was just going to hand the mic back and walk off, as he might have looked like a spare part now that the great Ed Sheeran had arrived.

Thought it was pretty embarrassing from Sheeran's side and he should have the wherewithal to keep one side and wait if he wants to speak with his mate Redknapp. If I'd been Amorim I'd have been sorely tempted to walk off but this being his first post match interview he probably decided to keep a lid on things. I can't imagine he'd do so again if the same thing happened.

Fair play Antonio, his shirt is ripped so clearly fouled but the ref is giving nothing so he just walks to the assist with his shirt ripped open like the incredible hulk and politely asks how did this happen then? Lol 🤣

100% but he isn't giving either side anything he's just missing fouls left right and center

I'll take a 1-0 lead into half time just need to come out firing second half
I’m amazed we are still winning, our back line looks shaky af! Credit to Soler though, best game I’ve seen him play.
