We were taught at school !
Never pick the ball up in the penalty area always kick it back.
They mustn’t have had that at Mings school.

Given the reason it wasn’t given in the Arsenal game there’s no consistency in Europe either.
How can two refs have so different views of the laws of the game.?

Ref said “ I wouldn’t give a penalty for just a kids mistake.” In Arsenal match.
According to the commentary team.

Ultimately it is the players (Mings) mistake and its cost us a point, pretty harsh judgement in my opinion, hes clearly not doing a single thing to gain an advantage or waste time or anything, but the law is the law and he broke it.

Im sure he is kicking himself today, alas, we move on to Liverpool this weekend for another loss.

Bad run of form for villa atm but all faith that its just a blip.

This ref must have been a golfer - rules are rules and leniency is not tolerated!

Man Utd draw away to Fenerbache was seen as a really poor result and performance by some.

Will be interested what the reaction will be towards Spurs performance away to Galarasary if it stays like this. Only just tuned in to be fair, but by sounds of the commentators, Spurs are being absolutely battered and extremely lucky to be only 3-1 down.

Galatasaray are far superior to Fenerbache and by quite a distance

The front three is very good - Icardi , Osimhen and Akgun supported by players like Mertens

But Spurs are very open as usual

Yes, Galarasary are much better. They should have scored 7 or 8 versus Spurs, and I only caught the last 60 minutes. If you can believe it, Galatasary were even more wasteful than Utd at West Ham

Chelsea doing fantastic against Armenian super club FC Noah, founded in 2017. Currently 4th in their domestic league, finished 2nd last season.

Europa Conference League, giving Europe's best village sides to compete throughout the continent
